All of my starters on serious games have been water. All of them have been named "Buddy" My very first one was Squirtle in Pokemon Blue. Why always water? Cuz it rules! And also cuz I loved Squirtle so I just kept going.

Then I got a Cintaquil in gold, but since then the starters have been getting more and more lame.

I hate to admit it, but Bulbasaur was my very first pokemon in Red. I realized that it sucked, and started over and got squirtle. To this day, it's the only pokemon that I've ever gotten to level 100. No rare candies at all.

My first was Bulbasaur, but I eventually switched loyalties to Charmander. I think I had a thing for dragons as a young'in.

My boyfriend told me that as a kid he had a Blastoise named Pumps, and to this day I can't think about Blastoise without imagining it in high heels.
