Poll: What was your first Pokemon?

Why? Because every kid in my school rocked a Squritle or Charmander. I wanted to be different.

That Venusaur ended up journeying with me through all 3 gameboy games.

Somehow, when hardly using my Pikachu it started to like me as I advanced through the game. So I found that funny, probably because it wanted some attention after all (lol).

its cause you walked iwth him and he followed you. Pretty much you were guarenteed to have pikachu like you as long as he was in the party.

Then I lost interest in the series as quickly as I had joined. I'm not sure how many badges I even got out of that copy of Sapphire.
I think LeafGreen was the game that I actually got into the series, and that game I chose Squirtle.

My first pokemon ever was a Squirtle, he was the only pokemon I ever used in that game. I even leveled him to 83 just to beat the elite 4 on his own. I still have the pokemon blue cartridge with him on it. that was 13 years ago. He's now a level 100 and has been traded between both gen 1 and 2 games numerous times.

Chickorita, ever since I got him grass types have been the only starter I would get, not sure which was my 1st starter though, probably bulbasaur but since he's part poison it doesn't really count.
