Nord, duh. Magic is for wimps and balance is for nerds. Sword and loincloth is all I need. For Crom!

Imperial are my favorite race to just experiment with different combat abilities.

Personally, Bosmer forever. You just can't say no to +15 marksman.

Except in Morrowind, where perfect aim means nothing if you don't have a good stat in it. That's the one thing that drove me nuts about archery in that game...

But definitely Nord. It seems only right. I'll make a character, give them one of my ancestor's names, and pretend that I'm related to very interesting people.

Orc Warrior, as I like to imagine I'm one of the Greenskins from Warhammer. I tend to roleplay as such, and pick fights with anyone who looks like they are remotely able to fight, and that does tend to even include regular old housewives and farmers who made the tragic mistake of carrying a knife around with them.

I played as a Nord in Morrowind because that game rewarded heavy-armored melee.

I played as a Bosmer in Oblivion because that game rewarded stealth and long-range archery (at least it did if you got a halfway-decent archery balancing mod, not that it matters when you've got a 100% Chameleon suit.)

I will play Skyrim as the race and class that most greatly rewards whatever play style I adopt for the game. But all other things being equal, I find the most fun in ranged stealth characters.

Argonian, it's always my choice. I love the fact that I can play as a reptilian race.

Breton, despite hardly ever relying on magic. The magic defense is nice and I've always got a large reserve of magicka if I need it, but mainly use close range stealth tactics.

Argonian, probably...I dunno, just like 'em I prefer the ones from Morrowind, but that's just me.

Probably Dunmer. They're good all-rounders. I always specialize in marksmanship and the stealthy skills. I played as Khajiit a few times, but there was something about their base specs that annoyed me. Maybe it was that they were too fragile on occasions where the plot demanded I couldn't sneak up on an enemy.

I'm totally gonna be an Kahjiit, probably specializing in stealth, long blade and marksman. Admittedly this is the first time I'm gonna properly use destruction magic in an Elder Scrolls game, which will be fun. I think I'll try out shock magic.

As a side note, I was just wondering what races will be in Skyrim? I know it's probably gonna the same as Oblivion, but I'd really like at least a little variation. Also, I'd like to know, is there anyone who would be really pissed off if they replaced a race?
I've just been getting into TES again (I gots me The Elder Scrolls fever!) and I was reading up on the races of TES. I'd like to see the Imga (The Great Apes) in the world, even if they weren't playable characters.
