Why are Supermutant Overlords not listed? they're fucking hard to kill.
anyway, I guess I'd say the ghoul Reavers, because of the mix of radiation and general hard-to-kill-ness
Deathclaws are weak.

Mole rats is an option? Wow.
Deathclaws because they are really, really quiet despite their size and sneak up on you.

A deathclaw gets about as many points on the difficulty scale in Fallout 2 as it does in Fallout 3. Sure, in Fallout 3 you can jump around like a retard and shoot at it while you wait for VATS to load up. But the creature itself is still as deadly as it is in the previous Fallouts, which is what the topic is about.
I suppose you've got a point, although I'm not sure that I agree. In Fallout 2, you really need good stats and good weapons to defeat a deathclaw easily. But in Fallout 3, you might be able to use the landscape to your advantage and kill one, even if you're at level one, a lot easier than in Fallout 2.

I suppose it's the fact that I'm seriously bothered by the fact that the third installment is getting so much uncalled for attention, while the first games are completly forgotten somehow.

Kinda like how Michael Jackson got all of those people to start crying over him when he died, the same people who screamed "he likes fucking kids!".
I kinda feel this way too. Wouldn't know about the Michael Jackson part, but I wish more people gave the old Fallouts the same attention as the new one. But people aren't going to, and that's how it goes. Getting upset about it doesn't help, though. Might just make people think that fans of the old Fallouts are all a bunch of whiners.

I punched out a deathclaw. On the other end of the spectrum, an Albino radscorpion punched out three of them. Beyond that end of the scale, a feral ghoul reaver took out two of them.

Of course, anyone with the alien blaster shouldn't fear the reav-BLAM!

can i just ask what this is on, x-box, ps3, pc or what and if this is just the game or ex-pack because iv played the game to the end on x-box and iv never heard of albino radscorpian and all gouls are stupidly easy to kill, is it because i only play on the normal setting not hard? out of all the one on the list it has to be deathclaws and why would you even put mole rats on the list?

Feral Ghoul Reaver, I never had a problem with the deathclaws but I got goosebumps every time I heard a ghoul scream.

Reavers. Reavers by far.

At least Behemoths you can hit with a Nuka Grenade or Mini-Nuke, and Deathclaws you can hit with any accuracy at all, but Reavers are impossible to hit, especially when they goober you.

With a Deathclaw I can just grab my Sniper or Gauss and take them down quickly.
With a Reaver I need to use multiple Bottlecap mines while eating through my Stimpacks at mach speed.

None of those listed in the poll. The damn rednecks in Point Lookout gave me more problems than anything else. Pump four gauss rifle rounds into them and they still keep coming. Never really had problems with any other enemy in the game, even the enclave soldiers were pussycats compared to them. It's funny, I would figure advanced battle armor would be better protection than denim overalls, but I guess I was wrong. Reavers are bad, but they're rare enough that it's not a huge problem, and they're mutants so it's understandable that they're tough. Sons of the soil toting double barrels, plaid hats, overalls, and withstanding multiple shots to the head with an automatic shotgun, that's not quite as easy to grasp.

Super Mutant Overlord with Tri-Beam laser outclasses all of the poll suggestions.
Yeah but Super Mutant Overlords aren't very common, even in the heart of DC. Because they aren't very common it's worth to use ammo from your best guns on them. Unlike the Albino Radscoprion, which is a common appearance once you reach the high levels.
Ah but the question was not about rarity. It is posed as the deadliest, which is the Overlords with Tri Beam lasers (Tri Beam deals 40 additional HP damage when the target is the player).
True, but since I always used my best weapons on Overlords they were not deadly. Though I guess we're looking at this question in different ways. You're looking at it from a single battle, while I'm looking at it over the course of the entire game. Or something like that.

The Sawmp Folk in Point Lookout are quite cheap. In addition to their normal damage, they deal an extra 35 damage that ignores armor. So no matter what kind of armor you have they can always penetrate it.

Deathclaws! They can kill you in like, 3 hits. Not to mention you can't run away, thought the dart gun does make that a possibility.
