komodo dragon sort of is a monitor lizard, but meh

i voted deathclaws, but a reaver makes me want to die
Actually they are a genetically engineered mutant version of Jackson's Chameleons.

Why is the thread for Fallout 3 only? Most of these existed before Fallout 3 as well. You know, there were Fallout games before Fallout 3. Good ones too!
Because if you count the other games then Frank Horrigan wins by a long margin he's head and shoulders above any other foe in the series.

For 3 I'd say Deathclaws, Giant Radscorpions are too slow and Reavers are only tough because they glitch.

Because comparing them between the games is pretty much impossible when it's based on in-game combat, due to the immense difference in how number 3 plays compared to the first two.
A deathclaw gets about as many points on the difficulty scale in Fallout 2 as it does in Fallout 3. Sure, in Fallout 3 you can jump around like a retard and shoot at it while you wait for VATS to load up. But the creature itself is still as deadly as it is in the previous Fallouts, which is what the topic is about.

Because I assume the person who made the thread has only played 3. What's the fucking problem with that?

OT: Deathclaws are a ***** since I'm too lazy to make a dart gun.
I suppose it's the fact that I'm seriously bothered by the fact that the third installment is getting so much uncalled for attention, while the first games are completly forgotten somehow.

Kinda like how Michael Jackson got all of those people to start crying over him when he died, the same people who screamed "he likes fucking kids!".
Could I hazard a guess that you're a Jon Lajoie fan?

And, you may just have to face the fact that the vast majority of people haven't played it and you should be happy that this third game will probably bring more attention to the first two even if it is wildly more popular.

Super mutants if your a n00b

but deathclaws when a bit higher

but if you want something that will make you sh!t yourself go into a subway and try getting attacked by a feral ghoul :O
How can you be a 'n00b' in Fallout? It's not Counter Strike or Call of Duty.

Anyway Deathclaws are probably the most dangerous. The Yao Guai are pretty tough as well.

I would say a tie between Albino Radscorpions and Deathclaws. Sure, reavers are also a pain in the ass, but you get the ghoul mask and they aren't a problem.

It's a tie between the DeathClaw and Yao Guai. Feral Ghoul Reaver's only worried me when i wasn't playing my other, higher-level evil character.

I have the ghoul mask and the animal friend perk, so deathclaws. I find super mutant behemoths easy because thy attack Dogmeat or Fawkes while I nuke them to death.

That's because Radscorpions are completely immune to the Dart Gun. Since the poison used in the Dart Gun is from their own stingers, it makes sense that it would not affect them.
Fun Fact: Did you know that scorpions actually can kill themselves with their own tail? that kinda makes your post invalid.

OT: Either Reavers or Deathclaws, whenever I hear a ghoul scream, I allways expect a nice one shot kill with my rifle, but when a Reaver pops out instead of a normal Ghoul it's brown trouser time. Same goes with Deathclaws, whenever they sneak-sprint up to my back...

I dont mind deathclaws because I can see them from far and get ready, reavers in the metro come at you like a damn crackhead, and even if they dont they throw those damn grenade things.

Fawkes, when you're level 30.

I know he's not really an enemy, but i shot him in the face with a Fat Man and he was almost unharmed.

I used the Gauss Rifle to shoot him off of Tenpenny Tower and it took two falls for him to die.
He survived the first one with half health

First time I came across the new Ghoul Reavers, I was actually worried. I could one-shot most enemies by that point Sneaking with a sniper rifle, but those bastards would just not die!

With deathclaws, I take them out by running backwards and throwing mines. It keeps running into them and I might finish them off in VATS if their health is low enough.
