I've always favored Majora's Mask, since it feels like the game is at least trying to do things differently from the other Zelda games.

But in the end, the best of the games has to be Master Quest, because it's actually a challenge compared to the other ones, which I find, to a large, insultingly simple.

Why is there no Minish Cap on this list? :( Okay it's not my favourite but it's the first one I finished XD Personally I loved Wind Waker. Although admittedly I didn't finish it due to the horrible shard colleting at the end.
It's still my favourite due to the gorgeous graphics, if this game was updated for the 360 or PS3 it'd be too gorgeous to look at :') Kinda like Okami :D

Try playing something before you form an opinion on it.
No, my brother has pretty much all of them and whenever I watch him play any of them I just think "Wow, whats everybody getting excited about? It's the same game over and over again" then I go and play Shadow of the Colossus or Lost odyssey or something.

I'm not saying they're bad, they're just not for me

That's pretty difficult. While I enjoyed Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask they definitely aren't my favorite. I've put 200+ hours in Wind Waker and 100+ into Twilight Princess.

In the end I said Oracle of Ages because it was the first Zelda game I played and it's difficult and awesome.

It's a tie for me between Ocarina and Majora's Mask. But for nostalgia, which is a disease I need a cure of, I'm going with Ocarina. It was the game that first introduced me to Zelda (and video games in general). I would spend hours on end watching my best friend play through the levels, thinking that it was the best thing I've seen. Now that I think about it, a lot of our early days in elementary school - middle school consisted of him playing Ocarina and me watching along. Obviously, I've played the game myself and it's only been confirmed why I love it.

Definition of fail: To be unsuccessful

Therefore,by the power of using your brain, you can deduce that they did not succeed in impressing me, hence "They are fail games"

Get it now? They failed to impress Me but that doesn't mean they're bad, they are just failures in my eyes

This is the internet. If you had wanted to say unsuccessful you would have said unsuccessful. You chose to say fail, as in http://fishbowl.pastiche.org/archives/pictures/shipment-of-fail.jpg.

I can understand now that you were trying to say that the games were not to your personal preference, but it seems you forgot to come out from under your troll bridge when choosing how to word it.

Anyway, back on topic, my personal favourite Zelda game was Twilight Princess mainly because of the story and how it managed to maintain that Zelda charm while still dealing with a dark setting.

I grew up with Ocarina, and I still hold it to the merit as one of the greatest games ever created.

To my regret I must say that I haven't played that many Zelda games, but Ocarina of Time is one of my top games of all time. Also, for some reason I didn't at all like Majora's Mask...

you should try getting into it again
it was hugely underrated at release

Yes, I suppose it was. Hmm, good idea for the holidays, thanks for the suggestion!

Majora's Mask was ultimately my favorite because i loved switching from mask to mask and running around. The yoga mask thing was probably my favorite mask.
