I've always had a fear of big things in the water! Swimming with the Whales? Forget it. I'm in the water and a big oil tanker pulls up to rescue me; don't want to know.
I'm slowly trying to overcome this, as I've recently taken-up wreck diving, still scares me to hell though!

Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia is my favourite 'phobia' word.

I have a fear of the dark. Not a childish fear, but a physical terror. I can be quite calm around it, just I feel a gut wrenching terror within me. It doesn't always affect me though, it does usually depend on context.

~EDIT~
Re-reading that, I feel stupid.

Oh well.

Also, over-enlarged mouths. Ugh.

I used to fear darkness, hights and toads.

But now I sleep in a pitch black room and go for a jog at 4 in the morning on weekends.
I now golf/kick toads. (they're a pest in Australia so it's not frowned apon)
But i'm am still afraid a falling off stuff and getting injured or worse.

Is it irrational? That depends on if you're religious. If you believe you're going to heaven, then yes, it's very irrational. But if you believe you'll just disappear (or go to hell) then it's perfectly rational.

i actually have quiet a few phobias including spiders,heights,puppets/china dolls, basements, being locked in places (to the point where i've broken a down down trying to get out), things being dropped out my feet (since after breaking my toes some years back)

my main one is Coulrophobia (fear of clowns) and for me there is no logical reason for being afaird of them i will run screaming from them, cry or have panic attacks watching films/seeing pictures of them i have trouble even talking about the damm things. *shivers*

I wouldn't call it a phobia per se, but I hate the idea of letting people down and am afraid to fail in an academic sense. I've been lucky that I've always been good at academia throughout my life so the thought of doing badly in any of my subjects is quite scary. I would feel that I've let my family and friends down somewhat, something I don't wish to do because I care about them.

Thalassophobia. Fear of the sea. I have no clue why, but yeah. I think it's something along the lines of its vastness, you get swept away by a current and you's screwed. Oh, that and fish. Eurgh, fish...

I have no specific phobia, but can be afraid of all of the above given the right circumstances i.e. if I deem them dangerous or am in stress.

Im all good now.

DID YOU KNOW: The most common phobia in the world is the fear of vomiting!
Wow, really? Thank god I don't have that fear. I can say though that when I'm very sick and I known I'm going to vomit, I have the phobia of having to wait before vomiting. You see, I know that vomiting will make me feel better afterwards, so it doesn't bother me to barf, but what I fear is the extremely strong and excruciating feeling nausea you have just before doing it.
