I was 12 I think. My mum told me and I wasn't the least bit disappointed, I was still getting presents and I no longer had to give away cookies.

Also, I'm pretty sure it's spelled "prezzies." >_>

I found out when I was 12 and figured out my parents were pretty much lying to me all my life about religion. I became a lot more skeptical about the man that breaks in and leaves presents under the tree shortly after.

I was 5, my older brother let me know. I think that's about average.

Age six when I stayed up until I saw my mum with presents from 'Santa'

I'm not entirely sure if my older siblings knew or not by that point but I may have ruined it for my younger brother.

It happened when I was 8, because I set up a video camera to catch the fat bastard...

I use "bastard" in the kindest way possible, believe me...

I have no idea. I don't even know if I ever believed he was real. I barely remember anything from before age 10 anyways.

Wait. I think my cousins told me Santa was my uncle in disguise when I was something like seven years old. This is a very faint memory though. I have no idea if it's true or not.

When I clicked on this topic.

...No, I was always pragmatic and raised by pragmatists. They didn't sell the concept very well as such.

I don't think I ever believed he was real. It just sounded too far-fetched even for my nonsense-filled brain.

A while ago. I don't remember, and I don't think I cared because I never really completely believed I guess.

When I was about four, I'd say.
Some kid and his mother decided I should be made aware that everything I believed in was fake.
I asked my mother afterwards and she insisted they were lying and muttered that it was pretty rude. But the seeds of doubt had been planted.
