Got confirmation from my parents when I was about 8. My mom was yelling at me about something or other and was like "There is no Santa for kids like you!"
I recently decided Santa does exist still, and the whole "he's just pretend" thing was perpetrated by parents to set children up for a life of disappointment... The jerks!
I don't know, I probably just figured it out when I was 10 or 11. My parents never told me for certain. In fact, my family still has the stupid tongue-in-cheek joke of "why does Santa's handwriting look just like mom's?"
I think I just figured out that all of the holiday characters (santa, easter bunny, tooth fairy, etc) weren't real but I don't remember when. It was probably around when I was 10, but I don't remember exactly.
When I was 6 I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom on Christmas Eve and heard a commotion in the living room. I ran down the hall shouting "HE'S HERE HE'S HERE" only to see my mom putting presents under the tree and dad taking a bite out of one of the cookies I left.
Could Santa Clause Exist yes he could. Could he exist the way that we believe him to be FUCK NO. Why? Coca Cola made the most recent look of Santa as a marketing ploy around the holidays hence the red color of his suit like the colors of Coca Cola.
