I never believe in Santa. I still don't get why you would. It's like being religious... only dumb.

I was 12 I think. My mum told me and I wasn't the least bit disappointed, I was still getting presents and I no longer had to give away cookies.

Also, I'm pretty sure it's spelled "prezzies." >_>
I'm pretty sure it's not spelled.

When I was five. I was one of those curious kids who would always ask questions so when I asked about Santa enough my parents just straight up told me he didn't exist. I was sad for a moment, then I just went away to play with Legos some more :p

i was playing Hide & Seek with my brother, when i discovered all the gifts under the bed ! (never hide under a bed!) then i directly thought it were my parents instead of a hypotetical Santa, Papa Noël, whatever...

I found out that the Tooth Fairy, Santa, and the Easter Bunny were fake when I was 5. Didn't care in the slightest.

I kinda sorta knew, but I don't know when I realised. It was kinda confirmed about age 7/8 by a whole bunch of older kids from school.

However, I had to keep pretending because my sister was 4 years younger and so hadn't been told yet. We kind of kept 'Santa' traditions going even until I was in my very late teens, but it was more out of Christmas traditions than any real belief. We still have a particular present we all give to each other labelled the 'Santa' present, which just basically means the biggest and best.

When I was 10. My parents just pulled me aside a few weeks beforehand, so as not to let my younger brothers hear. I can't remember clearly if I was heartbroken or what, but I was certainly wondering about the sketchy details of it a few years before.

I don't remember when I stopped believing for myself but I remember when my parents 'officially' told me. Actually it was nothing to do with Christmas, I'd lost a tooth and my dad came up to my room that night (with tin-foil wings on) and just smiled, they'd sort of figured out I knew. I thought it was a really sweet way to do it.

The major spoiler warning in the title made me laugh lol. I never really believed in Santa. You know, I was THAT kid in school.

I don't remember what age exactly (I think I was probably 5-7 years old) but I remember how: I thought I heard "santa" in the living room so I crept out of my room and saw my dad eating the cookies we left out. I confronted him and shouted profanity at him for stealing santa's cookies and stormed off. The next day I was forced to sit down with my parents and they explained it to me.

Didn't really scar me or anything. Made me think my dad was a cold heartless bastard for a night though.

I never actually believed in him - my sisters and I knew that our parents bought the presents and put them under the tree, and we were just told that Santa Claus was a story that people told other kids. Given that the three of us would be awake all night on Christmas Eve (we'd pretend to go to sleep until my folks left the room, then it would be up and start feeling the wrapped presents to work out what's in there, counting down the time until we could open the presents, etc).

I remember getting in trouble at school age 6 for making a couple 8 yr olds cry when insisting that Santa Claus was just a story. I just assumed that because they were older than me, they must obviously have been told the truth by then.

Wait if Santa isn't real, who the hell was that old man in my room last year?
To be honest I did find it strange that he kept giving me the "Magic Christmas Cuddle."

No excuse me while I go vomit.

But I actually remember the day I was told he wasn't real (although I already knew). It was before going into first form (age 10/11) my dad just said to me "You know there's no such thing as Santa." To which I replied "Yep."
