I found out that Santa didn't exist when I was like 11 years old. I had received the first Pokemon gameboy game as a gift from Santa, and my dad got mad at me for playing it nonstop and said something like "I never shoulda bought that for you." The rest, as they say, is history.
Similar story, can't remember the present or my age at the time and I'd always kinda known it deep down. Funny thing is though, I'd decided for myself that God didn't exist way before I would admit Santa wasn't real.

I guess in a way I always knew, but I liked to pretend otherwise. I know that when I was around two or three in the first house I lived in, I would try to wait up with my brother to watch for Santa, but we never made it. My mom told my brother when he was like five which I think is WAAAY to early, but he'd taunt me with it every so often, and I guess that kind of sped things up. I can't remember when it actually was, but my dad came clean when I was 12, and then we laughed about it cause we all knew by then I knew, lol.

Saint Nicholas of Maya did exist, at least somewhat, so I reject your theory that he did not exist. He's just dead.

I was 10 years old, I found out Santa doesn't exist as I saw my parents bringing in the presents from the back of the car on Christmas Eve, it was then I thought "wait, doesn't Santa bring the presents? Oh... that means he doesn't exist..." I was very disappointed

Just before my first year of high school. I was heart broken.

When I think about now I was so stupid to believe that! I mean come on, there is not a shred of reality in the whole santa story.

I never really thought of if he exists or not. He was just Santa. It didn't matter. And I never got to the realizing point as I never was convinced he was real, because I actually didn't think about it.

My dentist asked me if I still believed in Santa, so that kinda ruined the illusion, as though there was an alternative. I'm not sure how old I was, eight?

I don't remember when I stopped believing for myself but I remember when my parents 'officially' told me. Actually it was nothing to do with Christmas, I'd lost a tooth and my dad came up to my room that night (with tin-foil wings on) and just smiled, they'd sort of figured out I knew. I thought it was a really sweet way to do it.
When i read this at first i thought holy crap! a dad was willing to do that for his son? thats so weird. No it cant be a guy *checks profile* oh alright its a girl...hmm that is sweet hahaha.

I think I was 8, and me and my little brother used to sleep under the Christmas tree. ^_^ I woke up in the middle of the night to see my father stretching over me to try and covertly place our present. We stared at each other for a while until he told me I was dreaming and to go back to sleep, which I did. The next morning I told him I remembered seeing him and he tried to play it off as a dream or an illusion but I wasn't fooled ;)

Truth be told I found the idea of my father (who I rarely got to see at the time) being the "real Santa" much more appealing than some fictional fat guy. Merry Christmas Dad! :D

My family never celebrated Christmas, so I never knew who Santa is until I was 10, when we immigrated from China to Canada.
By that time my brain was mature enough to conjure up the fact that
Santa is fake, and I should not break the dreams of 5-year olds by telling them that.
Edit: Kinda off-topic, but I found this:
