Definition: When you noticed the first sign of Puberty, (IE: Pubic hair, beard, whatever...)

Me? I am/was an early bloomer: 12 years old.

Everyone else hadn´t yet, though...so that was awkward.

How do you remember an exact time it started? I just remember being a kid at 8 and being in the middle of puberty at about 13. It's so gradual that it's hard to think of a time it specifically began.

I haven't the faintest memory. I know that I had neither pubic hair nor acne at some point in my childhood, and that I do right now. It must've snuck up on me sometime in between.
I'm only starting to get my wisdom teeth now though (at 17), and I can't grow a proper beard, and it seems I am beginning to get som hair on my chest, so I guess I'm not done yet.

Edit: Apparently, getting wisdom teeth at 17 is normal, though one of my friends is claiming he's had them for a good while now, and gloats whenever I bring it up...

It's easier for girls to tell when they've hit puberty. If they're lucky, they know what's coming. If they're unlucky...Well, just watch Carrie.

Also, "about average" for girls is probably 11-13 somewhere.

I'm not sure. A lot of around then is pretty hazy.
I had a lot of these paranoid breakdowns for some reason. I only really remember discovering new and interesting physical changes every time I returned to clarity.

It could have been anywhere from ten to fourteen, I guess.

Actually puberty for girls begins before their first menstral cycle and can be as young as 8 years old.

11 and I got basicly a very low voice over night. It changed all of a sudden and very fast.

I was about 13, when I discovered my voice was deeper and I had some hair around my pubic area. Although I didn't get any facial or chest hair till I was around 16 or 17.
