Walmart Has:
Guns.
Food (non perishables).
Plenty of furniture/fixtures for barricading.
Technology for contact with the outside (radios, phones).

I would go to, Iceland, such isolated as it is.

Or maybe to an SAS area, one of the military bases.
Lol Brunei! GURKHA ZOMBIES!!

On that note, I'd raid Malta completely
It's such a tiny Island that nobody would ever think of looking there, you could easily murder all the inhabitants there after about 3 days (you would have to hide somewhere first and launch daily assaults)
Failing that, a place called Leek. It's so freaking windy there that no zombie would consider it

I'd stay in my house. Even if the situation really starts to get bad, there are very few people around my house. I can easily kill pick them off one by one.
Then, I would gradually progress towards the main city.

walmart and target sell guns, so that's easy enough. plus, just barricade the front with pallets from the back for more security. A friend noted that this plan would work much better at BJs Warehouse.

Yea my house. Everyone is going to go to a store. And to those who talk about an army base should realize that there arn't many of them. Many are closing down. Fort ORD FTW. even though they closed in 1993

I would hide at the one place that would be an impenetrable fortress. A place owned by Lucifer himself...Costco.

You know what I think my idea of hiding at the Orchard is actually a really good idea. I don't see any flaws in my plan.

a friend and i worked it out, we would go to Cabela's and blow up the stairs while we are on the top floor and wait it out. there is a food court up stairs and lots and lots of guns and ammo.

I'd head to the bank, collect all the coins I can, head to the nearest skyscraper, bar all the doors and windows, and drop coins down on the zombies to show how rich I am to the poor masses.

Oh wait, I do this anyway.

>_<

But seriously, I'd get like, a lot of small metal objects and drop them on top of the zombies around my skyscaper. Pretty sure it'd kill a few thousand of em.

It depends on a large quantity of factors, including the type of zombie(speed, weaknesses, etc...), type of outbreak, duration of outbreak, and so on and so forth. I'm prepared, aren't you all?

I would actually try and get an army of canibals and have them feast on zombie flesh all they want then release the new zombie breed onto the world! Imagine a zombie race that can be controled by their creator!

I finally got to see Dawn of the Dead last weekend. In most cases a shopping mall would be the first choice of the general public. I'd prefer to stay on the run, myself. Only stopping for supplies where available i/e: guns and food. I'd probably die real quick, but dammit it beats getting gnawed on; stuck in some department store.

Rage-infested (DotD/ 28 Days Later) zombies are rather frightening. I prefer the mindless, slow-moving Resident Evil style. The kind that can't climb stairs.

In my opinion: higher places + much ammo = better chance of Not Death.

Yeah, and 2.5 people per square meter (or just one really fat Walmart mother, pushing a cart full of bratlings). There'd be more zombies in a Walmart than a bus station, airport, or school.
That is what Mr. Shotgun is for... but yeah, I would probably kill any other survivors that I find who could possibly prove to be... unstable. If the walmart was crowded, I would run in, grab some food and ammo, and then high tail it to a nice, secure, non crowded area, like a taco bell! No one would think of going to a taco bell!
