I recently had an epiphany where I realized C.Viper is pretty wicked. She's a grown woman who isn't particularly 'good', but she's more than just the mindless drone henchman type. She takes Ryu head on after simultaneously fighting and subduing Cammy, and only retreats once he goes all dark hadou and such. Her design is more believable for a woman, but is eccentric enough to still fit the game. Her gear is all mechanical so her abilities are all theoretically possible, and she still needs to rely on her physical capabilties to pull them off so they aren't entirely doing the work for her. Also, she kicked Chun-Li in the face.
And she still regularly gets her ass kicked by other female characters in the series.CloakedOne said:

Aslong Soul Blade/ Soul Calibur for me(yes I must put down Sou Blade/Edge). For me the toughest female characters are in that game series not that the others couldn't put up a fight or knock them out of the spot.

Jam is like Chun Li on roids with some of the crazy ass kicks and flips she does.
Dizzy is half gear and her mom is Justice...so she's the daughter of a being that almost destroyed the entire world.
Baiken the samurai amputee. The woman fights with one arm and instead of getting a prosthetic arm, she just fits it with a bunch of crazy japanese wepaons.
May is a 16 year old pirate that beats the shit out of people with a BOAT ANKER. Oh and she can summon sea creatures to attack for her, including a GIANT WHALE to sack you in the face.
I-no has megalomania....that is all.
Wait why the hell would you put Ehrgeiz there and not Dissidia, ya know....the REAL fighting game for FF fans. Ehrgeiz was just a pile of suck.

I'd have to say that, not having any experience with anything there but Soul Calibur and Tekken, that for me it's a three-way tie between Taki, Seong Mi-Na, and Tira who are all from SC. If I absolutely HAD to pick one, I'd say Tira because anyone who listens to her talking for about 5 seconds could realize she's a psychopathic murderer who has probably run around orphanages stabbing everything in sight then lighting it on fire. You can't match that kind of crazy.
