Poll: Which is better Family Guy, The Simpsons or Futurama?

Overall its Futurama without a doubt!!! > But, in both the early series of The Simpsons and Family guy they could easily match my love for Futurama

So If we're talking in the first few seasons then I'd say the Simpsons, although I still prefer Futurama :S And I would put Family Guy at the bottom... Its alright and can be rather hilarious but it gets less funny every season, just like the Simpsons! Plus, American Dads way better than Family Guy anyway :3

Futurama, it's easily the most consistent in quality. Simpsons was good for a couple of seasons ages ago though.

Personally I've never found Futurama particularly funny. The Simpsons hasn't been good since about season 8, maybe early 9 (although the movie was okay). But while Family Guy can be tiresome, when it is funny its funnier than either of those. Also, why wasn't South Park included in this pole?

A tie between Futurama and the Simpsons for me - I think the highs of the Simpsons, back in the early days, were incredible and the only thing that can touch it is South Park (which is my favourite of the big animated shows). But, Futurama is consistently great, so a tie between the two. Family Guy is funny, but has nowhere near as much depth and I find I can't rewatch Family Guy episodes, whereas I could happily watch Futurama and the Simpsons forever.

family guy is okay. The SImpsons has just gotten to a point where barely anyone watches it.

Family Guy: One half-hour program which amounts to a huge fart joke.
The Simpsons: Much better than a huge fart joke.

Taken as a whole, it's The Simpson's by a mile. There have been so many memorable episodes and characters. Futurama is just as funny, but it's not nearly as prolific. Family Guy has a few good episodes but is mostly just stupid.

If you're strictly looking at how they are right now though, then I would have to grudgingly say that Family Guy is the best. The new episodes of The Simpsons are unwatchable, and the new episodes of Futurama are pretty average. Family Guy is at least consistently chuckle-worthy.

Simpsons has used it's idea bucket for a while now. it's been poor for the last few seasons now. plus most of the Characters are really fucking annoying, especially Lisa...

Family Guy and Futurama are my favourite cartoon series ever, since they both manage to be funny season after season, but out of the two, i am choosing Futurama for the sheer originality and funniness of it's episodes.

I used to LOVE Futurama, it was by far my favourite of the 3. But now I have seen most of the episodes more times than I can remember, I'm just bored of it through over-watching it. Also the movies are of a steadily declining quality ranging from great (Bender's Big Score) to only just watchable (Into The Wild Green Yonder/Bender's Game).

Family Guy can be great but the jokes occasionaly get old (like the scene where Peter trips and is holding his knee, hissing for long enough for me to get up and make a sandwich and come back before it was over).

The Simpsons is consistantly good and I don't get bored of it the same way I got bored of Futurama, but to tell the truth I haven't seen many of the (really) new episodes so I'm not sure if they're as bad as everyone seems to think.

The Simpsons died several years ago and Necromancer-trainees are still trying to make some sort of entertainment by crudely re-animating the corpses.
Family Guy is straight out funny but the problem is that is all it is, not much depth or anything else out of there.

Futurama wins as it has a few more memorable characters in it, it has a bit more depth and structure and I feel it has a lot more potential with its setting than the previous two. (Although it has way too many re-runs of the same episodes)

I'm a fan of all of them, but Family Guy & the Simpsons are becoming less and less funny with each season unfortunately. Never will understand why Fox cancelled Futurama in the first place

Futurama is the only series I have purchased in DVD the whole seasons. That says a lot.
