Poll: Which is better Family Guy, The Simpsons or Futurama?

Out of the three, Futurama hands down. However, South Park has been funny recently.

Family Guy really shouldn't be on there, it lost it quite a while back. American Dad is currently much better than Family Guy and The Simpsons. Overall though, Futurama is my personal favourite.

That makes no sense. Any qualitative comparison is by definition based on a subjective consideration of the subjects' comparative quality. How else could they be judged?

OT: Futurama's science-based humour is much more on my wavelength, while retaining the social commentary aspect of the Simpsons. And Family Guy is just dismal.

Family Guy was funny, but has hit a quick decline sadly. The Simpsons was great in it's early years, but for the last 4 years at least it's only pitifully unfunny and obnoxious jokes with no regard for character, subtext or story. I can't get through a single episode nowadays without changing the channel in disgust. Example: That evolution one. What was with that? Springfield is a christian community for like 15 years, then one episode they decide that no, it was just Flanders and Lovejoy, the rest are atheist. What happened to all the church themed episodes? Lisa's whole spiritual guidance/buddhist developments? And the one where Homer's mother dies...they ALMOST had a reset to character driven and emotional storytelling, (the chance was right-freaking-there!) but they revert to pointless joke setups and disregard the notion that maybe something serious happened that could be explored instead. Mourning = emotional, not joke-filled adventure. And they have the audacity to claim the Simpsons is only getting better?!

Ergh...I digress.

Futurama is consistently funny and can get a laugh out of me, which is more than I can say for the others, so it gets my vote. Haven't seen the latest of episodes, but the recent ones I've seen have not disappointed me.

New Family Guy is just weird, and gay. I'm not trying to be hateful when I say that, there are just to many gay jokes, gay characters and gay moments. Stewie's gay, Herbert's gay, Bruce is gay (oh no... I know; that guy) Quagmire does gay shit, Quarmires dad fucked Brian, Brain licked Stewie's asshole, etc. We get it! Enough already! Futurama is significantly more balanced and dosn't rely on any one type of gag to make you laugh. Futurama!

Futurama. the best of the three hands down. Simpsons cease to be funny after season 5-6. Family guy is more for the adult crowd.

So Futurama wins since it hasn't made it to season 5-6 yet to be bad and its age friendly.

Also I just gotta say the new episodes of Futurama have been amazing (minus the Adam and Eve episode)! Whats with the hate all of the sudden? The show is a little more on the topical side of the spectrum now, but I'm alright with that.

Futurama, its both a funny show just like family guy and the Simpsons, but i occasionally try's to have a coherent story line, which just makes it better

Although, like South Park, it has been going down hill. Not necessarily because of the quality, but because the writers have grown lazy and formulaic. (Hey! It's another punfest of robots loving humans and vice versa! Hey! It's another Stan and Marsh-centered episode!)

They're all created for a target audience. While it is true that qualitive comparisons are based on your own opinion, the fact that it was created with a target audience in mind, makes your statement rather indefinite.
Futurama merges perfectly with the taste of most escapists, unlike yourself.
