Poll: which is the best online shooter

I love most of them, but I think the best is undoubtably COD4.

Sorry about the limited choices, if there were more slots I would have put in MGS and TF2

I personally prefer Halo 3, for no reason I can put my finger on. I guess it's because you need more damage done to kill you, meaning that you can't just spray 'n' pray.

I prefer halo 3 because everyone has the same weapons, it's so much more balanced. By that I mean you actually need a bit of skill and not just a high rank to get the best weapon, not that I didn't love COD4, it was great but halo 3 is something you can play for much much longer because the ranks don't work with weapons, the weapons are always there.

I actually prefer Metal Gear Online. It's very balanced because of how you set up skills and what weapons you can choose. There are issues (as i've said before, Collision detection fucked up and way to easy to get headshots) but I personally like the game.

Warhawk comes second with the feel of how everything actually IS balanced.

The other option on this pole shouldn't be there unless you don't want accurate results.

You should rid the pole of the option so you can see whitch is more favored of the other 7.

I voted CoD 4 as well, but seriously get rid of it and make a second thread with the other online shooters then match up 4 from this one and 4 from that one so you have a top 8 out of those 16 then get an accurate winner from that.

In fact have this one locked then start the other two, that way those who already voted can RE-vote on the 2 threads.

That is what I would do.

If you're going to make a thread called something like 'best online shooter' (or 'best anything' etc.) then either:

A)Make a poll of the list of games you want to find out the popularity of.

B)Don't make a poll at all and just let people post their favourite.
