Poll: Which part of the Imperium would you choose?

Hello everyone, I am back again with another WH40K THREAD! YAY!

Anyways, I was wondering after which race and which chaos faction would you choose, I now decide to see which part of the Imperium would you choose. Also when you pick, please tell which soldier class you would choose and/or the chapter(Or regiment).

Their are

Adeptus Astartes (Space Marine)

Imperial Guard

Imperial Navy

Adepta Sororitas (Sister of Battle)

Adeptus Mechanicus (Tech Priest of Mars)

Inquisition

For me, I think I would choose the Adeptus Mechanicus. I do not know why, but when I see the artwork and read the lore about them, I feel a little Awe about them. They mostly make everthing in the Imperial Army yet they arn't part of it but more of a ally. As well as they believe the machine has a spirit and won't work probably without its blessing. But enough about what I think, lets hear it from everyone else.

P.S if I have any typos, sorry. It's late here and I'm typing on a laptop. Very bad combo lol.

Depending on were we get placed (do we get to chose were in the command structure?) I'd either go Imperial Guard as a Tank Commander, Imperial Navy (perferably as a captain, or senior officer) or Adeptus Mechanicus as a tech priest.
As I don't qualify as a Adeptus Sorortias, Space Marines arn't really human, and a Guardsman has a better chance of surving a tour of duity than a Chaos worshiper reaching Daemon-Princedom

Anyway, from the Imperium I'd choose to be a Grey Knight,Daemon Hunter. That way I'm even more bad-ass than a Space Marine.

Personally I would rather be a Space Marine, largely because of the longer life expectancy and crazy badassery. As long as its an interesting chapter, i.e. not the Ultramarines.

I like the Guard too, but lets face it, who would want to be them.

I'm too male to be a Sororitas.

Mechanicus would come in close second, because they make all the cool stuff the Imperium uses. I don't have them as my first choice because they seem to fail in the remembering schematics department.

Rejecting my obvious traitorous bent, I would have to say... hmm, maybe Adeptus Mechanicus? I'd love to build my body up and replace the weak and corruptible flesh with beautiful machinery, let alone the fact that they keep all the best weaponry and Titans to themselves. However, I freak out at needles... how could I stand to have portions of my body replaced?

I guess Imperial Navy wouldn't be so... wait. Isn't it getting easier and easier for those guys to get lost in the warp?

Personally, I'm fine with anything, as long as I get posted to a safer setting than 40k. Which is to say, well, all of them.

Black Templars, Ultramarines, or Space Wolves if I get to set a short list for chapters.

Honestly I'm a Marine already here, so I may as well keep it up in the next reality over, and while I enjoy the stories of Inquisitors and especially Imperial Guard, seeing the normal and average stand in the face of the horrors of the galaxy is awesome, there is nothing quite as cool in 40k as the Space Marines. All the enemies you can want, foul xenos, pathetic heretics and the traitor legions chaos all be destroyed in purifying holy bolter fire.

Second choice is a tie between the Inquisition and the Imperial Navy (on the condition I get to go to OCS, life as a naval rating in the Imperial Navy.... shit at least in the guard you have a fighting chance)

As to the earlier question I swear I've heard of female tech priests before, I know there's female Princeps (titan commanders) so it would figure there are more women through out the Cult of Mars.

Adeptus Mechanicus. Building all of the Imperium's stuff and still being able to worship your own God is a bonus. Plus they look pretty badass, and have a possible C'Tan in their planet.
