Poll: Which PS2 game should I get?

i have most of the very best ps2 games im just trying to expand my collection with some more good ones

I would recommend Metal Gear Solid.

Unless of course, you already have it. In that case, I hear from tons of people that Prince of Persia is a great series.

I'm torn between Prince of Persia or Devil May Cry 3 (Special Edition, if you can find it).

I actually just bought Beyond Good and Evil myself, yesterday, so maybe I'd recommend that.

DMC3 is a fun game, but out of the list you provide us with here it's a toss-up between Beyond Good and Evil and Sands of Time, both of which are among the best games I've ever played.

How about you save for a PS3 and jump onto the Killzone 2 band-wagon!!! But my personal favs are Burnout 3, the best one imo, revenge and paradise seemed too... complicated as far as map layout goes, I always crash into something smaller than my car lol. But also Devil May Cry 3. That game was epic!!! It felt more epic than Gears (a game made for a next-gen console that's meant to be epic and made by, well uh, Epic lol). That and you get to play as one of the most bad-ass characters in gaming.

already got a ps3........ and killzone 2.....damn
its just that ive decided to wait out the time for some ps3 games to drop in price and get some older games for real cheap while thay still have them at gamestop

POP is a great story, awesome game mechanics, and loads of fun.

i agree DMC 1 is definetely the best

I mainly like it better because of the difficulty. I BREEZED through dmc3 on almost every difficulty level, yet i struggle on hard mode in DMC1.
But of course, after the first one, the japanese complained of the difficulty and capcom tuned it down from then on. which is why DMC2 sucked so bad.

That's all I have to say about that.

Yea, I know what you're talking about... $60 for a games is like paying $10 for a cheeseburger. And actually alot of the PS2 games are actually better than some of the PS3 ones. But those games listed in the poll are actually great, I'd think you'd be happy with either.
