I was planning on trading in some of my games, and getting a RPG.
Any suggestions?

I've already got oblivion, so don't say that one.

EDIT: i forgot to mention 360 games only....although, i dont think that matters....

I voted Fallout 3, but if you don't have Mass Effect, that's another one you should get. The other options are barely RPG's.

Take Mass Effect!

Fallout 3 is Oblivion with Guns, I didn't like it but if you liked Oblivion then go for it. Since when are GTA, Saints Row etc. RPG?

Pick Fallout 3, but also go for something from Atlus. They make damn good RPGs, seriously.

Far Cry 2 is an FPS. I found no RP elements in it.

I say Fallout (any), Fable (either), KOTOR, NWN2, Diablo 2, Baldur's Gate maybe? (not played but it's much loved by many).

Farcry 2 and GTAIV are not RPG's. Farcry 2 doesn't have any RPG elements in it, it's just an open world first person shooter with impressive, but incomplete fire physics. GTA IV has some RPG elements, but they aren't too enjoyable. At least I didn't find the dating enjoyable. And the game altering decisions are very rare. Too rare for anyone to really care about.

I am going to also say Mass Effect.
I loved Oblivion, but something felt lacking with Fallout 3. After waiting for what felt like years to play Fallout 3, I put it down about 12 hours in and haven't picked it up since.

FC2, GTA IV, and SR2 all have one thing in common, none of them are RPGS. And sequels for all you smart cookies.
But Fallout 3 is easily the best choice, at least in my opinion.
