Star Wars, as a Jedi in training.

So many hours wasted in my imagination.

Star Trek- no money, little internal conflict, instant medical treatment, replicators, FRIGGIN HOLODECKS.

If it wasn't for the whole reaper thing, I'd pick Mass Effect. Until I see how Shepard deals with that whole fiasco, I'm placing my feet firmly in the Star Trek camp.

Warhammer 40k as long as I get to be a commissar.
Give me Tactical Dreadnought Armour and I'm set!
Ya but being a Space Marine you don't get to experience life as much as you would a normal military servant of The Emperor(who protects us all).
Actually screw the commissar I want to be an inquisitor.

Well at least this way I can live for 1000+ years and have a better rate of survival :p

Star Trek, the Federation is a freaking utopia, everyone is happy and well fed, sickness is practically non-existent and everyone does the job they want to do for the betterment of mankind in a communist paradise.

And if you want excitement you can join Star-Fleet and explore the galaxy.

As much as I love Mass Effect, I would not want to live in that setting. Whole colonies tend to get wiped out there at an alarming rate. Geth, Reapers, Batarian slavers... Just sounds like an unhealthy place to live.

I'd have to go with Star Trek's classless egalitarian utopia.

EDIT: Keep in mind most people in Warhammer 40k don't even know about the wars, and the like. Chances are you would be perfectly happy in your life. Unless you lived on a forge world.
Or a hive world, or an agri world, or were part of the Church, or lived on teh fringe systems, or lived on Earth, or were conscripted into the Imperial Gaurd. Life for everyone but the nobles and officers sucks pretty hard. Just saying. But the 40k universe is definetly the coolest of them all. But I voted Star Wars because there's some pretty cool stuff going down there. (plus I am/was a hardcore fanboy of the EU books :)

Let's see some points:

Warhammer 40k: Cool but heretical aliens, your life is completely insignificant unless you have a one in 50 billion genetic makeup that you could be a Space Marine or Titan crew member...

Mass Effect: Awesome aliens, biotics, but threat of complete genocide and terrorist attack always looming...

Star Wars: Awesome aliens, midichlorians, Might get caught up in one of numerous civil wars war. Might have a one in a 100 million chance to be a Jedi but they'll turn you into a religious wimp...

Star Trek: More awesome aliens, probably one of the safer universes (as long as the Enterprise has a Captain)

I'd go with Mass Effect to be a Biotic God!!!
