The Wamphyri from Brian Lumley's Necroscope novels come to mind.

...then there's

...and, though the plots and writing were not exactly what I would call "good," I'll always have a special place reserved in my blackened heart for

Those crazy schizophrenics are no match for the Brujah.
So yeah, I'm with The Masquerade. Also Kain from the blood omen series... Why?... Because he's BADASSED!!!.

Love to see Edward Cullen or Buffy Summers try taking him on.
Well yeah, Brujah would kick ass in a fight, but I maintain Malkies are cooler :p
And I will stand with you on that claim Malkies are indeed hilariously cool. If only for their psychopathic rants and sheer insanity.
I love you guys ^^

Malkavians r dumb. Except that hot one who owns that one club and who is a severe schizofrenic.

I'll take Ventrue over Malkavian anyday. Those are the true high life vampires that rule all human society from behind the scenes.

None. They're things that suck your blood and kill people. They're not cool.
Wrong.

Since they (in most lore) are tectonically dead, they generate no body-heat and are therefore rather cool.

... Unless we are talking about the finnish sauna-vampires.

I'm not really a big vampire fan. They were kinda cool when I was younger, but not so much any more.

Though, that said, aside from Spike (Angel is too angsty):

Does anyone else apart from me remember these Playstation games?

I can generally agree with this though I have no particular love for any of the Clans.

Though, I must admit the fact that the Malkavians always seem to know exactly what will happen is a bit troubling. Hell, in the PC game bloodlines, if you play as a Malkavian character, you find that your character is often incredibly accurate in assessing a situation assuming of course you're willing to parse their nonsensical speech. For example, you realize upon your first meeting that the owners of the club from the first segment of the game are the same entity after meeting with one of them.
