White Wolf's Vampire: the Masquerade are the most badass and stylish vampires in fiction if you ask me. The Malkavians [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malkavian] are my favourite.

HERESY!!!! Hellsing (the manga and the ultimate series) are just... well awesome. Think Bram Stoker's Dracula but set in modern(ish) England with Catholic paladins, Nazi vampires, Englsih Vampires, vampire hunters, vampires who hunt vampires, vampier hunting butlers. OT - I really enjoyed Eli from Let The Right One In, as well as most vampires from True Blood. Actually, I really, really liked the vampires from the Underworld series. Their wardrobe was absolutely fantastic. From the little I've watched from Hellsing and Vampire Hunter D, they're pretty sweet too.
