The Japanese actually have laws regarding that. I don't remember the specifics, but basically not blurring out the genitals (of both genders) bumps it up from "porn" to "NASTY porn" which requires that any potential buyers be forty years old and they have to register for the sex offender list and the navy.

Besides, i happen to know that a lot of the games that you find in Japan are simply too random and unrealistic for an American/European audience to appreciate. The thing is I think the Japanese audience appreciates a lot more that games and be pretty much anything, and thus make well, pretty much anything. feel happy that your at least getting Noby Noby Boy

Sorry but as much as I hate "fanboysm", the only animated thing the west has to show for that I remember, that can HONESTLY rival with the "high quality" anime is The Simpsons. The one thing the west has better than the east are the "live action" shows (real shows), from which I can name about half a duzen (or a full duzen) better than the ones you mentioned, that still can only match good anime.

PS: Before you call out anime for "giant robots not being believable lololol" you should take a closer look at Doctor Who.
