Jeff Dunham. I was just gonna ask where he was in the list. I used to actually like that guy, he can be really funny as Walter. Now that he's got Akmed (and that TERRIBLE fucking show) he's riding the gimmick train (he's the one ventriloquist who wasn't riding it already)

Jeff Dunham. That's the point of his act, he's making fun of the people making up these stereotypes.

In my opinion Eddie Blake is the worst comedian.

The origin of me finding out about this guy was my 11 year old sister showing me it on youtube. I swear to god she is never going out of my sight again. She showed me this in front of 4 of my friends and I literally tried to laugh but it was so bad I couldn't. We were all sickened by what we saw, I think that means something was definitely wrong.

I voted for Dane Cook before I noticed Jeff Dunham who I didn't realize was "famous" enough to be mentioned here. I also didn't realize that he qualified as a comedian because I have never ever seen him say or do anything remotely funny.

Dane Cook is extremely annoying and I don't think I could stand being in the same room with him. The rest of your list are all fairly unfunny but they're not so irritating that I couldn't stand being in the same room.

I'm going to go with a british comedian known as Roy "Chubby" Brown. It's not just that his act isn't funny, but it's deeply racist and sexist. His audience can be described as "The Lowest Common Denominator". In America, they would be the stereotypical "Local Yocals"

And not just the "Women can't drive, men don't listen" sexist, but genuine "Women are worse than men" sort of thing. I won't go into the racist things. The one time I watched a moment of his act on youtube, I wanted to punch him.

And trust me, this isn't a troll post. He came to our college to do a live stand-up show, so a bunch of friends and I decided to go. In short, it was basically one hour of him standing in front of a whiteboard and making lame one-sentence jokes about the stuff he drew on it. It was extremely disappointing.

To be fair, he was kinda funny, but not really funny enough to be considered a fully-fledged comedian.

I saw him recently, thought he was hilarious.

he doesn't count, same way a cover band wouldn't count for a "greatest/worst rock band" list. you don't get credit for doing other people's material. yes, I completely believe that carlos mencia steals people's jokes. i believe he's a no talent hack, not a comedian.

I think what makes him sooo bad is that he sells his live show as a "dumb, silly good time". (can't find that press release anymore, news searches are flooded with bad reviews of his TV show) He's more evil because he is irreverent about his racism. I was able to laugh at Bubba J first time I saw him, maybe because I know plenty of rednecks who really do like to drink beer and watch nascar (my dad and uncle certainly count, they both think Dunham is hilarious.) Sweet Baby Dee was *sorta* funny - I can see it being MUCH funnier if you've never laughed at Dave Chapelle or Chris Rock. But if you're not sick of black people culture being lampooned by pimps-n-hoes stereotypes, there isn't much hope for you - you're too disconnected from pop culture.

But this Ahkmed shit? It's only one joke - "I keel you!!" - and HE'S GOT A LIVE STUDIO AUDIENCE CHANTING ALONG WITH IT!!! He's quite literally taking a negative muslim stereotype and programing an audience with it. Yes it's an audience that's already partial to that stereotype, but I guarantee most of those people don't think it's racism or that it's 'all that bad'. So all he's really doing is taking a moderate mass and reinforcing their latent racism like heat-reinforced steel. I know I'm going on like a bleeding-heart liberal, but the bottom-line is this: His act is fucking stupid, it's ignorantly cruel, and it absolutely isn't funny on any level anymore.

PS: If you want to see why everyone likes him so much, get his first DVD "Arguing with Myself" on Netflix, you'll see he's great at interacting with a live audience and he transcends the gimmickry of a typical ventriloquist act. But for christ's sake, DON'T WATCH HIS NEW SHOW. It's already a ratings monster (and a stinking pile of shit) and he does not need any additional support!

not funny man, just not funny

I saw Macintyre live right before he got famous, he played a little theatre in my hometown and he was brilliant. The live stuff is so much better than anything that gets televised I think. Within ten seconds he'c picked out the biggest nutter in the audience and my god the back and forth was great. Best comedian I've ever seen live, hands down.
