i think we can all agree that Mayor McCreedy (that kid in little lamplight) is the most annoying person in the game.

Liked? Oh hell yeah! I loved that crazy guy.

... if you mean by "loved", you mean mercilessly killed him and dangled his lifeless, limbless, and decapitated body in front of the Brotherhood Knights, then yes. I loved him to pieces.

I liked him. He was an amusing personality, and part of my motivation for completing the quests was to hear what he would say about me. Also, 3-Dog's channel helped to make the Wasteland seem like a nicer place. The only thing that did a better job was the ambient music.

One one hand I loved his music and the adventures of "Daring" Herbert Dashwood. His mannerisms were fun until the fifteenth or twentieth time, which is honestly all I can ask for. I also liked hearing about my exploits - did a much better job of giving me a feel for my overall impact on the Capital Wasteland than the ending cinematic (something I miss from FO1/2).

On the other hand he shamelessly forces the Lone Wanderer to help him. It might be for a good cause, but the thing we love about Fallout is choice right? I would have liked options - a way to coerce him would have made choosing to help out more of a "good" choice than merely an "advance the plot & fix my Pipboy's reception" choice. He also had a disappointingly small role for someone with eyes and ears all over the wasteland. With his contacts he could have been a much more interesting quest or even background information source.

Oh, and Jonas' glasses really help you look like Mr. Freeman. I'm not kidding. Originally, my third character was a woman, but then I found Jonas and put on his glasses and was like "Hey, I look a lot like Gordon Freeman!" So, I just switched the gender, added a beard, put points into science, small arms, and melee weapons, and now Mr. Freeman is roaming around.
It's true. I nicked Jonas' glasses off his corpse and started wearing them with short hair as a girl character, and the first thing my friend said upon seeing her was "Hey, she looks just like Gordon Freeman!"

I enjoy 3-Dog. Trekking across the Wasteland would be horribly boring without him (just as trekking across the land in Oblivion was murderous, even with the horse). He does get extremely repetitive (I hear about Arefu about 10 times a play) but the music makes up for it.

Remember kids, don't feed the Yao Guai! That is all.

i like him but he's telling the entire wasteland that I blew up Megaton. What a prick!
Yeah, same here. What a douche! He prbobly can pick up a big boy and kill the sheriff to get his chinese assault rifle... ummmm wait, forget I said anything
...what?
Before i blew up the town, i decided to kill everone to get their stuff... I still cant belive i left the bobblehead behind

Edit: and i killed Jehrico

EDIT:EDIT: and i meant to say he CAN'T pick up a big boy

You and me both. Although I did it at level 3, and by the time I'd finished. I was level 6. So little Ammo, and I had to finish off Jericho with a Chinese sword!

Its better than the Enclaves bull station right?
Nowai man, Enclave radio all the way. *plays typical American war tune from Enclave radio while nuking raiders* Americaaaa!! FUCK YEAH!!! Freedom is the only way-eaaaa!!!

*cough*

Anyway, 3-Dog is a lazy bastard, but I loved his music, Butcher Pete FTW! [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYF5KI5RnsM]
And yea, I also agree that the major from Little Lamplight is the most annoying character ingame, together with the rest of Little Lamplight... O Bethesda, why do thy taunt us so much! Gód I wanted to slip a grenade in their pockets so so much.

I quite liked Three Dog. His music lightened up a trek through an inhospitable hellhole filled with radiation, brutality and death. And also helped as a stark contrast when I was hacking Mirelurks into incinerated chunks with my Shishkebab to hear "Let's go sunning" as I did so.
I agree, he does get a little bit repetitive. Not as much as President John Henry Asshat, but sometimes I would change over to Enclave Radio to listen to it...until I blew the palce up.

But I agree with everybody else,I wish I could have murdered each and every little asshole in little lamplight and taken the Wazer Wifle. How hard is it to operate a friggin' pulley system? Why does a CHILD have to do it? I'm the goddamn Lone Wanderer!

Neat concept that came off as really friggin annoying because of HOOOORRRRIBLE voice acting and writing for the game.

what happend to clever writers for video games? remember the original sam & max game or grim fandango? Fantastic dialogue that was really funny, now it seems like developers can't write proper snarkiness or comedy and comes off sounding stupid like 3-dog

He sounded like a cheezy morning radio host, a badly acted one, while I did find it a bit amusing when he retold what "The Wanderer" had done, it stopped being funny the thousandth time he howled in my fucking ear and rambled about the Mechanizer.

i like him his just a pretty shit disc jocky, but thats mostly the developers fault.

wheres those old Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra classics, yeah the inkspots are funky, but id like to see that third DLC that ups the level cap and adds new perks to also include more songs.

One thing I didn't like, and yet couldn't help but laugh at, was the way he contradicted himself, calling me a liar, cheater, murderer, etc, and then rattling off a list of the good things I'd done recently.
I steal a lot. I can't help it.

I hate Bethesda so much for removing child-killing from Fallout 3, because this was the one time in the whole series when I actually felt like leaving a whole load of dynamite in their inventories and watching them explode.

What's worse was that I was actively trying to avoid Little Lamplight by any means possible, and then I find that even when I did manage to fight through the radiation at Vault 87, the door's locked and I have to go to Little Lamplight anyway. Fucking developers.
i want to power fist that motherf*cker right in the face.

oh and also that kid in Grayditch.

"Don't feed the Yao Guai, that is all."

I liked him, he was an amusing character. Okay a little repetitive after a while. But that rarely bothers me as its something to listen to as i'm wandering the wastes.

Although maybe a few different radio stations would be good. Rather than "GNR" and "Enclave Radio" which is plain boring...

Maybe even a quest to kill off either Three Dog or his rival Disc Jockey.

I was so annoyed that he made me fetch the satellite that I killed him so I ended up missing most of the things you describe. Instead I had some woman (who I later looked for at the GNR building but she wasn't to be seen). At least I got his glasses.

I like listening to him, but after a while it is just repeats and I turn him off.
