Poll: Who makes the best games?

I didn't even know who Valve was, honestly. I had to look it up. I guess it's not surprising though, looking at the games they make.

My vote has to be on Blizzard here. Not that I'm a huge fan of WoW but because they haven't released a bad game. I really wish that could be said about more developers.

I think Nintendo has consistently great games, more so than any other developer so I chose Nintendo... even though I've barely played any of their games.

I picked Capcom. I have a soft spot for Street Fighter and the old Resident Evil games. After that it is a tie for second with Konami and Square. third goes to Sony.

I vote Square Enix. I'm not just saying this because I have fond memories of playing their games while I was younger. I just replayed FF7, and it's still better than 98% of the stuff being pumped out today.

But seriously, S-E has a pretty damn high standard for game quality. Higher than Capcom, that's for sure. Come on guys, how many Capcom games have you played where one of the final stages involved facing old bosses a second time? It was even in Okami, for god's sake! Even as much as I love Devil May Cry, they still do that shit to me...

Valve. They take so damn long to polish and refine their games but the end result really shows.

Hopeless poll. I'll never choose Squaresoft if I happen to like FPS games. Which doesn't mean Square is a bad developer, just that I don't like JRPG's.

But, i'll play along. Blizzard. If you like highly polished twitchy clicky games.
