Yes... Yes... and once more... Yes...

I would easily take it... for both the reasons you mentioned... I could see the rise of technology and the fall of mankind... or see other planets... the Universe would be my playground...

Where do I sign up?

No, if people don't die, then they won't be inclined to make a difference so they can leave a positive legacy, and less will be done. I want to make a difference before I croak, so there's my motivation. Also, have you ever noticed how 5 minutes when you were much younger was a lot longer than 5 minutes now? I'm fairly certain this has already been explored scientifically. But regardless, going on personal experience, and assuming this trend continues, then eventually it won't be a Tuck Everlasting scenario, but one totally different where you don't even care about people and life because the moment I notice it it's dead and replaced. Sure, I wouldn't feel the pain of losing someone I cared about again but I wouldn't even have had the joys of knowing them while they were here.

No, I wouldn't. Eventually it would get incredibly boring, and I think there wouldn't be a single person who wouldn't go mad after the fact that they realize that human contact is meaningless since everyone you ever get to know is going to die of old age and since you would live longer and longer and the brain adapts, the human lifespan would start to seem smaller and smaller. Yes, there would be some upsides, but I think the downsides would greatly outweigh it.

Watching your family and loved ones grow old and die while you stay eternally young would be horrific for me. Plus I'm pretty sure the world is going to go to shit in the next 100 years or so and I wouldn't want to see that.

Yes. It'd be pretty cool being able to wander the Earth for ages and see civilizations rise and fall. Also it would mean I'm a highlander and that would mean a kickass theme song.

Sure, immortality sounds great. Even if just out of curiosity for what happens to the rest of mankind, and the universe in general.

Too painful - all of your friends would die over and over, what would be the point?

No thinking required, my answer is a resolute 'No thank you.' If Q is any example, even with omnipotence, immortality would get boring after a while.

I would only be interested in living forever if I could be:
We're 5 pages in, we've had Queen a couple of times, but no mention of that song? I'm disappointed in you all! O and screw Jay-Z, fucking up that awesome song like that.

I would like to have eternal life in the sense that I would be immortal (ageless and unkillable), then I wouldn't have to worry about finding food and stuff to keep me alive, and I might possibly be able to fulfill my dream of seeing other galaxies.

The problem is, if I was immortal in that sense, there would be no way to leave life when I inevitably can't go on anymore. It's bound to happen, how could I live with myself seeing everyone I love die? And what good would come from a life when I couldn't let myself love?

I'd only want to live forever if I was able to spread the immortality around... like a vampire. No I'm not into twilight. >_>

It would be a curse to walk the earth until it ends, its not living.
Who's to say you'd die after the world ended? I think you'd just float forever in the void, unless you could come up with some sort of propulsion system. Even then... you be cursed to roam the universe that has no place for you.

who doesn't want to live forever? I would be very theatrical about it too. start a cult, make a lair in a cave in the middle of some majestic mountain range, find ancient riches and hide them in booby-trapped dungeons, and all that kind of stuff.
