A friend of mine purchased a really snazzy one a few months ago. It has a really nice Digital display that ticks away the seconds in the manner of an animated billboard, albeit classier.

I don't wear one, because absurdly skinny wrists make everything look preposterously oversized. And because I'm averse to having expensive items on my person.

I've been wearing the same one for about 8 years now. I feel naked without it. I bought it in Paris, and poured all of my allowance money into it. It was the most expensive thing I ever bought and it stayed that for an awful long time :p

But I've only had to replace batteries twice and it still looks amazing. At least I think so.

I'll wear one, but it's only because I look cool in them. Other than that, I don't check the time unless I need to.

I wear one every day. That way I know what time it is. Because there are certain things I need to do at predetermined times throughout the day and I need a point of reference. So I wear a watch.

It has a calculator too.

What do you mean it -ate- your poll? >_>

OT, I stopped using a wristwatch after my cell phone started keeping time. Took me a while to make the transition, but after a while, wristwatch started to feel burdensome on the...well..wrist.

Troll much? ADULTS wear wrist watches. You know, out there in the adult world. Acting like an adult doing adult things.

Um... I do. What's wrong with wrist watches? I'm not going to haul out my cell phone every time I want to know what time it is. A quick glance at my wrist is much more convenient.

I have a friend that spent £400 on a watch, then bought the exact same watch again but just with a different coloured face. I fuck you not, £800... crazy!

You MUST have a good watch with a good suit. I don't have one so I don't have the other. But when I do finally leave university (soon) and get a job you can be damn sure Ill get both!

It depends on my mood. If I know that I'll be too lazy/occupied to check my cell, I'll take my watch. I wear it to use, not as a fashion statement.

Most people I know. I'm nearly always wearing mine. It's damn more reliable than my electronics.
Also: I don't have to worry about it getting confiscated whenever I need to check the time.

My wrist feels bare without one, so I never go long between watches if one breaks, and I hate to leave the house without it. Even if I'm staying in, I'd still put it on. And I'm not so attached to my phone that's it's always in a convenient place, whereas my wrist is pretty much right there all the time.

I've got a fancy wristwatch.
My old one broke, and I got the new one as a gift.
It's one of those fancy ones with the little watches inside of the large one...
