Nope. Found that they ALWAYS got in the way.

When I did wear it though I wore it the PROPER WAY. On the RIght Wrist with the face of the watch UPWARDS. None of this Upside down bullcrap.
Actually, that is somewhat incorrect. Technically, the proper way to wear a wristwatch is the face upwards on the wrist of your non-dominant hand. So, as a left handed person, when I wear a wristwatch the "proper" wrist is on the right wrist, but right handed people should wear their watches on the left wrist.

Here is GQ backing me up on this: http://www.gq.com/style/style-guy/accessories/200102/wrist-watch

I wear a digital watch because it's more convenient than pulling my cell phone out of my pocket. I also love messing with my friends by checking the time a lot when they are taking their time with something.

I wear mine more as an accessory than something used to tell time. However I find handy camping since it's waterproof and can double as a compass (also it's real camping you have to drive an hour before you get a signal). Unfortunately being in the woods in the middle of nowhere get's it scratched and dirty so it doesn't look as nice :(

Yessir.
I use it for two main things.
The first is obvious, checking the time.
The second is as stop watch, which comes in handy more often than you may think.

I imagine eventually your iPod/Phone/etc. will shrink to the size of a wristwatch (maybe with projected screen or vr-glasses-hookup?) and the cycle will begin again.

Currently they're rather redundant (it's almost as fast to pull out and check the phone), but you have to admit the wrist is a pretty handy place to have a portable electronic device. I doubt the idea will vanish altogether any time soon.

I have a $3400 watch I got from my grandpa which I wear on special occasions (Or if I want to impress people)
A $600 Tag Hauer I wear whenever.
And a $20 dollar watch when exercising.
I love watches. They will always be stylish.

I'm 23 and have never liked the feeling of a watch on my wrist, so don't I don't wear one. It's not like it's difficult to find out what the time it is without owning a watch these days.

I prefer Pocket Watches over wrist watches (What Can I say, I'm in love with the style. Plus, it gives me a sense of Aeon from Castlevania: Judgement) I believe most people use their electronic devices (Cell Phones, Portable games, Ect) as a source to find out what time it is.
I still have and use my grandfather's pocket watch. Do you get odd comments on it all the time, too?

I use both a pocket watch and a wrist watch. The pocket watch I got cheap in a sale several years ago and the wrist watch was made in 1923 and given to my great grandfather on his twenty first birthday. This year, it was given to me on mine. Here they are together:

I'm not old and I always wear a watch, along with having my phone. Sometimes it's a pocket watch (which I love), but most of the time its a steel and silver (with a little bit of gold around the face) Bulova that my dad's parents gave him before he joined the navy more than 20 years ago (he got out some years before I was born). Not only does it have sentimental value, but it's very functional and looks damn good.

P.S. I wear the watch on the inside of my wrist, doctor-style.

I don't have a wrist watch, I have a pocket watch. And my cell phone never leaves my house I hate when people can get in contact with me all the time, so I do need a watch.

I was reminded of this watching the LRR about synchronizing time. Why would people even wear these things? They look and feel as outdated as a 'cell phone' the size of a toaster.

Conclusion: Old people are the only ones who wear wrist watches.

Edit: It ate my poll, oh well.
Hah, I'll do you one older. I have a pocket watch on a chain. (Granted, it's a Fullmetal Alchemist watch, but still...)
Haha, my brother has the exact same pocket watch.

I used to always wear a wristwatch and i would get annoyed when people put them on the wrong wrist (yes theres a right way) but i recently inherited my dads old pocket watch so i'm using that. It's Warner Brothers and its over 10-15 years old atleast so i think i win so far :D

I do. You never have to turn off a wrist watch for everyone else in the room, their batteries last forever, it's easy to find a waterproof one cheap, and they take up less space. They're very practical when you're out of doors. Also, wrist watches look good in a way cell phones can't. A silver watch with a black jacket or shirt looks awesome.
Pretty much this.

I wear wrist watches.
They are great, because without them I would be clueless.
Do you know how does asking people the time makes me feel? HELPLESS.
