i used to wear them but they kept breaking etc. now i just use my phone.

back in my day people knew what tapping your wrist meant. your either askign the time or telling them to hurry up. but now people actually dont know what that means caus they have never had a watch. wierd

I usually do. It's pretty easy to tell the time from it. All I have to do is glance at my wrist as opposed to dig by cell phone out of my pocket, turn it on and then look at the time.

It's not like a wrist-watch is a hassle. You put it on your wrist and now you have it for a while.

Hell, I've even thought about getting 24 watches and setting them up for each time zone, just because.

I don't wear one. Not because I already have the time on my phone. Not because it's outdated. It's because I'm MASSIVELY paranoid about my blood flow being cut off. It's the same reason I never wear tight underwear or wetsuits.

My watch:

The left side has gears that you can see moving, since it charges with kinetic energy.

I wear a watch because it looks cool, and because I constantly need to know the time. Pulling out my cell phone is a hassle, and not practical in class. Looking a clock can be seen as disrespectful in many situations, whereas a quick glance at your wristwatch can be done discretely.

If I forget to wear it, I feel lost the whole day.

I need to keep time at work but cannot use a cell phone, thus I wear a watch. I also happen to like the way it looks. As simple as it is to check my phone it's even easier to flip my wrist and look.

People who don't own cell phones...like myself.

Though I prefer to remove the band and keep the watch in my pocket.

I get cheap 5 dollar watches from Walmart and wear them till the battery runs out, then when it dies its cheaper to buy a new one than get a new battery.

But I wear it on my right wrist and I'm right handed and I've been told that weird.

I do, since I always need to know what time it is, and it's easier than constantly checking my cell phone.

Also I like the style of wearing one.

I have 2 Brietlings so... Yea. Good old self-winding watches, I love both of them and they both have sentimental value as well as monetary value.

But yea, everyone in my family except my sister wears watches. My uncle even has a pocket watch given to him by his grandfather.

If they're digital, sure
If it's a cool watch, sure

I had a Ren and Stimpy watch that had an animated Happy Happy Joy Joy dance on it. It needed a battery, but I still wore it.

I seriously want a game and watch . . . I'd wear it or take it with me.

I prefer Pocket Watches over wrist watches (What Can I say, I'm in love with the style. Plus, it gives me a sense of Aeon from Castlevania: Judgement) I believe most people use their electronic devices (Cell Phones, Portable games, Ect) as a source to find out what time it is.
Yeah, pocket watches are awesome. I have 4 (including a Star Trek one, which is pretty awesome), with at least one of them on me at all times. I wear a wristwatch too, because it's sometimes easier, but I take some refuge in knowing that I have several time sources on me.

I do. You have to actually take the cellphone out, which looks suspect in certain settings. Plus, cellphones have a tendency to get lost, while a wristwatch is always there. Also, sometimes you need to check the time while making a call, and it's easier to just look at your wrist instead of moving the phone away.

I wear a wristwatch, and I am only 14. I always use it to tell time, I never use my cellphone.
I always try to use analog instead of digital if I can. They also look cool too. Especially my watch. It is an amitron skeleton watch, so you can see the gears working inside of it.

I wear a watch. Taking out a mobile phone is just too much of a hassle. Besides, it just feels right to wear a watch; it provides a sense of relief when I don't wear a watch (when I honestly don't have anything that I need to do that day).
