yeah microsoft screwed up big time. sony did what was expected of it like a good little boy. nintendo blew everyone away!!! i mean they realized they had nostalga on their side and just ran with it!

I say sony won, because it put nintendo to shame, by making somting better than WII, I'm a MS fanboy, but I gotta say, Move looked better than wii, THE FUCKING 1 TO 1 CAPABLITIES ArE BETTER THAN WII. That just makes me understand why the Wii is so damn chap, Because its not the best.

Apparently we have different definitions of the word "new". Nintendo's idea of new seems to be either churning out sequels to existing franchises or resurrecting old franchises.Anticitizen_Two said:

Oh I don't think anyone "won" e3. Nintendo is re-releasing a bunch of games everybody already played and beat 10-12 years ago and is STILL proving that they have no originality by making more sequels. "Nintendo is making a new Zelda game that won't be better than Ocarina or Twilight Princess?" NOT SURPRISED AT ALL! Wake up people microsoft and sony only proved that they wanted to take all the casual gamers that Nintendo's had for years for some stupid reason that I can't keep track of anymore. No one won because nothing AMAZING AND NEW was shown, just more of the same.
If some predictions (that i have to agree with) are correct, that's exactly what will happen not long from now. With the 3DS almost out, and a strong roster of titles for both platforms in the near future, it won't take them long to start developing a new console, if they haven't already. 3D technology is something they've already been working on, and rumored that they have even worked on with the gamecube, so they've got their work eased up, and by the time a new console hits the shelves, 3D TV's will probably be a lot more widespread than today. If they play their cards right, they can very will carry on their casual crowd upwards and throw a punch at MS and Sony for the core crowd. Sure, their Wiimotes are imperfect and all, but they got the market share, they got the following - they have the consumer base and cash to develop the next generation of tech as they see fit. I would love for Nintendo to bring out a new console in, oh, a few years, seamlessly merging their casual and hardcore crowds and building on the motion-control lessons learned from their own past and Microsoft's ideas.
After all, Nintendo has the most experience with motion controls, and motion controls + large 3D TVs in most people's living rooms would be a pretty damn awesome time to game in
Although I don't play my wii anymore, I'm still thinking about breaking it out again for goldeneye and zelda. Nintendo most certainly won. Even though everything I was looking forward to was on another system, I'm now looking back at my Wii.

I was very impressed with Nintendo's conference. MUCH better than previous ones.
Sony's conference was not exactly what I was hopeing for (No "The Last Guardian" ), but it was damn adequate and had some good stuff in it.
Microsoft.........not even worth talking about.

While I'd be the first person to queue up to get a new version of Streets Of Rage or Road Rash, Nintendo seem to be content with just serving up the same old stuff reheated and their fans just gobble it up. Hardware-wise they are ahead of the curve but their software blows in my opinion.
Plus I was always a Sega-man in the heyday of the console wars so Nintendo really have nothing that interests me; especially if it's the same old shit I never got into when it was "new".
Does that make me a bad person or a liar? I think not.
I wanted to be utterly wowed by MS but I wasn't, on the Kenitic side it was mostly crap as you'd expect, but the game demos and announcments(ESPN and COD first acess for the nexr three) were good. and if you had checked the dashboard you'd known that MS's conference was airing on Spike TVcapin Rob said:
