Even though they didn't announce a new Star Fox title like I had hoped, they DID announce just about everything else.

Nintendo indefinitely won this year. After years of crappy press conferences, they finally got an awesome one. Nintendo truly wowed me. Everything just looked so amazing. I really think there's no doubt with that one. None of the others come close.

And considering a Star Fox title wasn't even announced, that's surprising even to me.

Did no one hear about the 360 Slim? (less I got trolled but I doubt it) actually Nintendo failed hard when they talked about a new Goldeneye 007, only Rare can do a Goldeneye 007

I don't believe that any company "won" E3. The term doesn't really apply to this event. It's not like one company is really better than the others. I seriously worry about the person who makes up their minds about what console to buy (or even worse, switch to) based on what is presented solely at these conferences.

I'm sorry I didn't know e3 was a contest.

I would say sony for twisted metal and Kevin Butler
I was being serious. I really had no idea anyone could "win" E3. I thought it was a convention.

I was very impressed with Nintendo's conference. MUCH better than previous ones.

Sony's conference was not exactly what I was hopeing for (No "The Last Guardian" :( ), but it was damn adequate and had some good stuff in it.

Microsoft.........not even worth talking about.

So, in my mind;

Great Nintendo followed by a Good Sony followed by a TERRIBLE Microsoft.
Yeah, Microsoft tried by giving away new 360's (which would be awesome), but other than that I would say their presentation was shit. Nintendo had the best show by far, and I say that not owning a Wii or DS.
The more I look back, the more I think that I liked the Sony conference more than I thought.

Maybe because of Kevin Buttler's kick ass speech. Though I did wonder afterwards "What was the point of that?" since it seemed like he was going to lead up to something (Like, you know, THE LAST FRIGGIN' GUARDI- oh forget it.)

I guess I liked both Nintendo's and Sony's conferences about equally, since I'm not really a Nintendo fan (#1 Resident Sony Fanboy on the Escapist) but they did announce a huge number of big titles that made my friend squeal like a downsyndrome kid on a sugar high (sorry if that insulted anyone >_>).

No one. Its not a competition.
OT: I think no one won still, kinect was a joke and they basicly insulted people. Sony was sony. And nintendo just announced a bunch of re-hashed games and a NEW DS OMOOMOMOMOMOMNONOMNOMNOM. Really though nothing exciting at all happened.

Nobody won e3. the 3ds won e3, and by association drug nintendo along with it.

Thus I state Nintendo lost less than Sony or Microsoft.

Think logically, and you'll realize that sony won by a mile.

- most exclusive games
- most exclusive DLC
- most exclusive betas
- best motion controller games
- best suprises and humor (kevin butler FTW)

You might day that 'best motion controller games' is opinion, not fact. but would you rather play LBP 2 and socom 4, or kinectimals?
i cant wait to play SOCOM 4 on Move. Its gonna be sweeeeeet.

Sony, for me, Won E3 for its 3D games (Mortal Kombat in 3D made me jizz) and for Move. Im still gonna buy Kinnect, but Move to me seemed more appealing.

I voted Sony. Their presentation was the perfect mix of market information and upcoming content with a dash of surprises thrown in. I'd give them an A.
Nintendo was a good presentation full of games for all different types. The problems with the Zelda demo was unfortunate. I'm thinking they get a B, maybe B+.
Microsoft was tremendously boring. It felt like they played it too safe. They show a few things to keep their "frat boy" demographic happy and then spend something like an hour showing games that are trying to grab them a piece of the "casual gamer" demographic. If I were grading them, they'd likely get a C or possibly a C-.

I voted Nintendo. In terms of games, all three had about an equal number of exciting games that I'm looking forward to (although in the case of Sony, they had a real problem with having any truly exclusive titles and had to bank heavily on 'extras' for their version)

In terms of presentation, both Sony and Nintendo did amazing - making Microsoft's look like a high school powerpoint in comparison - but I lean toward Nintendo, since Sony's seemed to have an annoying our-word-is-the-word-of-god feel to it, and having that colossal walking asshole Kevin Butler made me just want to punch them.

In terms of motion control, Microsoft fails singlehandedly for that Kinectimals presentation, Sony fails for sheer blatant emulation, and Nintendo fails for that hilarious on-stage debacle that was trying to get the new Zelda to work properly.

Yeah yeah I know technically Sony's Press Even isn't over yet but I think most of us who have been able to watch them live have a pretty good idea in thier minds who in the end will walk away the big winner is. So my question to you is who of the Big 3 on the strength of thier Press Event?

As for me. Even though I only own a 360 which you would think make biased to Microsoft, I can't say they won as they underwelmed with thier show this year. SO Im gonna swallow my pride and give it to Sony

EDIT: for everyone who thinks it should be an option I added a "nobody" choice
I don't know who won, only that I lost, =[

Who "won" E3 this year?

Nintendo.
If we ignore the 3DS though, I would say that nobody won. Certainly not the gamers.

I digress my fellow forum dweller. I've completely ignored it and I still won as a gamer. Hell for all the shit everyone(including 360's owners) gives it I think the Kinect related announcements still trounced the 3DS. Why because one of these days Kinect(or whatever comes after it) will be far more revolutionary and useful than the 3DS will evere be, in a sense that goes past its uses in gaming.
