I was really hoping Microsoft would have something special this year but they were a disappointment. Nintendo completely stole the show this year, they got my vote.
This confused me too. I mean you could easily be excused for thinking they didn't even attend.Zing said:131 people seriously voted for Microsoft? Were we watching the same conference where they basically showed no games and preened themselves over the terrible failure that is Kinect for an hour.
Bold is where I fixed it.Anticitizen_Two said:Nintendo. They announced about 20 rehashes of old games as well as the new 3DS. Microsoft and Sony's biggest news was the motion control Nintendo has had for years.
You fail to recognise the fact that the Wii's motion control is by far the worst out of all of them and generally unresponsive, even with the 'motion plus' that they sold afterwards costing you 30 pounds for something that could have come with it in the first place, the fact is the Wii remote is bulky with the attachment of the motion plus, dangerous to those around you if you don't wear the irritating little strap and about as useful to the games you play on it as a ash tray is on a motorbike.Anticitizen_Two said:Nintendo. Capcom has consistently been releasing awesome games on the Wii. Zack & Wiki, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Monster Hunter Tri and Spyborgs for instance. Namco's releases are often good but they aren't nearly as consistent with quality as Capcom is.Lewboi03 said:OT: has anyone else realised the only good games that you can get on the Wii are the ones published BY Nintendo?
If the Wii controls are unresponsive for you, it's a probably with the way you set it up. I have never (really, never) experienced this in the four years I've owned mine. I have to wonder if you've even played a game with the Motion Plus attachment. Like I said, it's gotta be a problem with your setup. At the worst, you were sold a faulty controller.Lewboi03 said:You fail to recognise the fact that the Wii's motion control is by far the worst out of all of them and generally unresponsive, even with the 'motion plus' that they sold afterwards costing you 30 pounds for something that could have come with it in the first place, the fact is the Wii remote is bulky with the attachment of the motion plus, dangerous to those around you if you don't wear the irritating little strap and about as useful to the games you play on it as a ash tray is on a motorbike.Anticitizen_Two said:Nintendo. I believe a Starfox title was announced for the 3DS though I don't think we know yet whether its a sequel or a remake.AidoruKami said:Even though they didn't announce a new Star Fox title like I had hoped, they DID announce just about everything else.
Nintendo indefinitely won this year. After years of crappy press conferences, they finally got an awesome one. Nintendo truly wowed me. Everything just looked so amazing. I really think there's no doubt with that one. None of the others come close.
And considering a Star Fox title wasn't even announced, that's surprising even to me.
Name one developer who does not churn out sequels.Programmed_For_Damage said:Apparently we have different definitions of the word "new". Nintendo's idea of new seems to be either churning out sequels to existing franchises or resurrecting old franchises.
Still, if that's what the fans want.
Congratulations. That is such a clever argument! Nobody's ever blamed Nintendo for rehashing old games before! How observant! So much thought must have gone into that comment!RMcD94 said:snip
