I'll get it when the UK is no longer being screwed over with the price. Or when it appears in second hand stores because there is no way in hell I'm funding Activison's evil empire.

Nah, for a few reasons, firstly people dont bloody shut up about it being the best game ever, its alright, pretty fun, not jesus, get over it.
Secondly the asshats at infinity are charging £50 for the thing, no i dont think its worth 25% more than Uncharted2, GOW3, or any otheer game out there.
And it tends to get a bit samey for me, whether you win epicly or lose, everyone plays pretty much in the same stlye, always playin the same maps and skipping the unfamilliar ones. theres nothing really cool you can do, which is why i prefer killzone online, as the perks are really cool, like invisibility, turret summoning, super speed. dont hate me 4 it

Finally, they know people are getting it for the online so will make a sub par story, probily

I've got it and it's just boring old WWII again. CoD5 seems to be a hark back to the old PS1 Medal of Honour games when as long as you hold down the right trigger for long enough; you'll win. I will admit that the Nazi Zombie bit at the end is excellent fun though. I bought a one month subscription to xbox live just to try it online and it was great. Apart from that, CoD5 was just not all that good.

I will get it when I tire of firefight and H3 multiplayer... which may well be never, but hey fun is fun!

if I do get it though, I will definitely be after the prestige edition!

Every time a game gets hyped up, even if it looks great, there always those who want to be edgy, or rebel and so start telling you how they think its crap, or isn't worth their time...well good for them. Just don't start telling those who are looking forward to it how wrong we are.

I will, I'm really looking forward to the multi-player, a change from TF2 would be nice. I'll buy it on the PS3 though, since my PC can never run it properly.

If I do get it, I'll be buying it when it has a reduced price (which may very well be never), because what I foresee myself doing is a playthrough on normal, another on veteran, and enjoy a few levels I liked. In my opinion, that's about $40.00 worth of entertainment, tops, not $60.00.

You can pre-order it at WalMart.com for $50 and it comes w/ a $10 wal-mart gift card. That makes it $40 right now.

One of my friend's just put me off getting CoD4 after he kept being a twat about it. Being better than me is alright, but when you're a dickhead about it aswell, that pisses me off. I have too many games anyway, I'll be fine.

Yes - it's going to be polished, action packed and fun with some different takes on things and fresh ideas. Why wouldn't you get it?

Only the normal version though, anyone stupid enough to pay an extra £50 for a 12 inch figurine or however much those idiotic goggles are is, well... Stupid.

Good idea, but in addition to having only $1 in my pocket, I don't shop at Wal-Mart for Union reasons.

Modern Warfare bacame boring to me after a few months. At this point I dont see a difference big enough to make this one interresting. Ok they added stuff but the core game seems to be the same. Again for anyone who did not play 1 that excessively or plays ladders/leagues I guess its a really good deal.

Nah, I'm not going to touch it, I bought COD4, played it for a little bit, and got extremely bored with it. I mean, am I the only person who sees how repetitive it is? You play it for a couple days and you've seen everything there is to see. Atleast I think so.

I dont think I will. The multiplayer will basically be unchanged from the previous two-three titles.
