Because only Rare could pull it off, and they're a shell of their former selves now. Luckily this remake port will redeem them in their hardcore fans eyes. Too bad we'll never get Goldeneye007 either.theultimateend said:I figured out partially why I'm so jaded.VastShadowz41 said:No matter how good MW2 is it'll never come close to besting Perfect Dark 64. Can't wait for it to hit XBLA.theultimateend said:Ever since Perfect Dark for the N64 I've been a jaded little ass who can never enjoy a FPS.
The only exception has been Combat Arms and Team Fortress 2 and both of them are because of the folks I play with more than the games (Albeit TF2 has a wonderful atmosphere).
CoD4 was one of those borrow and forget games for me. I imagine CoD5 will be no exception.
My thoughts at least.![]()
When is the last time you played a FPS that had actual AI options in Multiplayer? One that CAME WITH THE GAME...if you said Perfect Dark for the N64 you would be experiencing the same FPS life as me.
Seriously how come it was done in 1998 (I think that's how old it is) but nobody after could manage it?
It just seems like other than graphics every FPS since that game has been a slight upgrade in FPS and a gradual decline in features.
There was just something awesome about taking ally our friends and teaming up against the Perfect AI bots and praying to god they didn't make their way through your Neutron Grenade wall.
The nice thing about PD is that it has all the guns from Goldeneye and most of the best levelsVastShadowz41 said:Because only Rare could pull it off, and they're a shell of their former selves now. Then again Big Red One is called Call of Duty 2: Big Red One (emphasis on the "2"). It was really a spinoff created to fill the gap in the console gaming market along with Call of Duty: Finest Hour before it. COD 3 was the first non-spinoff numbered sequel not on pc. There was also Call of Duty: Roads to Victory made for handheld systems.dnnydllr said:Well, if you're going to be technical, it's actually COD 7, because there was COD 2, and then there was COD big red one.SpAc3man said:yea someone is confused. COD 5 is World at War, Modern Warfare 2 is technically COD 6
