anyone that says west rose colored glasses much? that show was so corny and over the top, granted the girls were hot back in the day, but it is hardly a serious take on batman nevermind that his batman and bruce wayne voice were EXACTLY the same.

Kevin Conroy.
Reason: To me, he his Batman. I grew up with the animated series and to me that's the voice of Batman. When I read a comic... Conroy's voice is playing in my head... When ever I think of Batman... It's Conroy's voice that I think of. Besides... He's been Batman far more times than anyone else. Pretty much every game that has Batman in it, has Conroy's voice, never mind the cartoons and such.

Christian Bale's the best Bruce Wayne, but Michael Keaton is the best Batman. Bale would be the best Batman if his voice wasn't so goddamn stupid.

Christian Bale easily. Didnt like the way he had to speak all over the top gravel'y as batman though, it was silly and made him sound like a sick person in need of throat-meds.

Ahh, ok. I was just thinking who's been the best original Bruce Wayne Batman. Will Friedle's character wouldn't have been included on the list even if I'd thought of him. Though I have to say while I liked the idea of Batman Beyond and thought it was an ok show, I found his character annoying.

You know, now that I think of it, he was kinda. I'd say he was a mix of Adam West (Hilarity), Christian Bale (ARGH!), and the old cartoon Batman when he could still shoot people( Bang!).

I find it to be exactly the opposite, Keaton was by far the best Bruce Wayne but Bale was a better Batman. Bale was absolutely horrible as Bruce Wayne, he didn't play the part of traumatized philanthropist that masquerades as a vigilante well enough.

Adam West was batman for like 8 years and it took over his life. Conroy has been Batman for almost 2 decades.

As for the physical.. Honestly Conroy could have passed as batman for live action, but honestly by the time he started, he was basically too old for hollywood

Adam West was a great Batman because that's how he was at the time when superheroes were a bit camp, but for my money Bale has the best understanding, physical appearance and gravitas of the character.

Yeah the voice is silly at times, but when it works, it works. Plus he was in the Dark Knight, never hurts to have that on the ol' CV.
