Fox news is stupid and biased. At school we watch it some times between classes because we're too lazy to change the channel, and all they talk about is terrorists... All news kinda blows. If something is important enough, I'm sure I'll hear about it within a few days from thousands of other people...

And for best news show, it's a tie between The Daily Show and The Colbert Report.

I'm British, so I don't get to see much of FOX news, but I have seen little bits of O'Reilly and the neo-Nazi crybaby, and it bewilders me how such blatant bias passes for news content.

And what the fuck is it with the BBC being biased toward the government? If anything, the BBC are often the first and most in depth when it comes to reporting political scandal. They've done nothing but show the various conflicts in which the UK military is currently involved in a sensitive and almost critical light. Because the BBC is given freedom from sponsors, it is likely the most unbiased news source in the country.

You forgot NPR. As for fox, 3/4 of the time when they are discussing an issue they don't bring on anyone who has a different view. A recent example of this was on the subject as whether American citizens only had the right to a jury. Their whole segment was just them agreeing with each other and attacking strawmen. Their news coverage is also very bias. They spent a whole day covering a tea party march, sending out news van and multiple reporters, spending hours covering it. But when there was a gay rights march in Washington with three times as many people they didn't even send ONE cameramen. The most coverage it got was a 3 second mention. They will cut out coverage early, misquote people, and in a whole try to repaint history. They are the news station of the right wing yet the try and say the are "fair and balanced". So ya, they are a biased and unprofessional news company. Oh and don't even get me started on the headlines at the bottom.

"Does the healthcare bill contain death panels"
"Would Clinton had died if Obama had his way with healthcare"
"Why some old people are afraid for their lives under Obama, find out why"

How can you even try and defend this stuff.

I have no idea about American channels, but ABC in Australia is pretty good, they tend to have balanced stories and arguments, and are more about the facts than just entertainment.

"Conservatives are always for free speech and freedom"

...

I'm not sure where your getting this from. Although Conservatives are for free market, free speech and 'freedom' are usually attributed to liberal ideals.

Also FOX is horribly biased whereas networks like CNN and other simply report both sides of the story without actually reporting the facts of the situation (I'm not sure which is worse). BCC is probably the best for straight (and actually watchable) facts.

The King of Rock and Roll said:
CNN and MSNBC and others allow rampant opinion to perforate their news program whereas Fox's unbiased news segments are really unbiased.

I'm guessing you haven't seen this.

People say Fox is terribly biased to the right. While I agree, do you know of your own hypocrisy? You call out Fox for being conservative, but you fail to mention how liberal CNBC, MSNBC, and a whole lot of over news channels are. Most news channels are biased; deal with it.

I choose BBC, they manage to stay pretty neutral all the time.

I am not voting because there is no reason to. It boils down to the following riddle: How are religion and politics the same? The answer is usually, "I'm Right! You're Wrong! Deal with it!"

I have been in debates like this before and it never goes anywhere. Both sides are firmly entrenched in their beliefs about Fox and nothing will change their minds. For those that think Fox news is right, what amount of evidence will make you change your minds? For those of you that think Fox is wrong all the time, is there any time when you find yourself disagreeing with that statement?

If the answer to any question is no, then that is the problem.

I think FOX is, but then again, I've met some of their people one on one and they can be really scummy of screen. But I shouldn't let that change my idea of the station...or should I???

Because from an outsiders perspective they are biased as hell. It really is shamefully so. I don't really care about the issues they are arguing about all that much because it doesn't affect me, but my god is the reporting bad.

People don't realize that the Fox online news that everyone links to isn't the same as the Fox I get on TV. It's not the same people, the same articles, or the same idiots.
