Already commented on this on another forum, most irnocially a forum that is quite console and PC tech based but instead of focusing on it's technical aspects and what it can and cannot do every single person that commented on it decided to comment on what it looked like.
It's smaller
It's cheaper
It's got pretty much the same tech specs as the original (at least the ones that matter)
It's got a bigger standard HD than my 60gig one
It will still be more reliable than the 360
but you know who cares about all that lets rag on it because it is 'ugly'. Because when all you want to do is play a game, how your console looks is going to be a huge factor in that.....

Both of those consoles were quite ugly.
I never really thought the Dreamcast was ugly.
The Xbox was also big enough for two consoles.

Yeah, it is ugly but, so am I so, we would make a great couple! I might actually buy a PS3 Slim. I could just get a normal sized one, but I might as well save a few inches of space.
To be honest, ugliness doesn't mean a thing. As long as a games console can play games, like it was designed to (is it going to be featured in Hello! magazine, and at least needs teeth veneers to go with the plastic? I think not), then it's fine.
