I say Fallout 3.

Oblivion had all the stuff to be awesome but once again it let me down...

One day... One day they will make a game that's truly a do everything RPG.... One day...

Maybe my standards for Sandbox RPG's are to high....

All 3 are awesome, but if you can only afford one I'd suggest Oblivion. Odds are you'll get the most play time out of it.

Fallout 3 I had a lot more fun with out of all of those listed above. And considering you suggested those to mind, you'll probably enjoy it most.

I've not played Oblivion, but from what I can tell, Fallout 3 is basically Oblivion with AKs.

It depends...
If you want colour go for Oblivion GotY
If you want atmosphere and guns go for Fallout 3 GotY

Fable 2 is a huge disappointment. Probably the most boring game I've ever played.

Fallout 3 however made me like RPGs.

Fallout 3 had a bit more of a tighter storyline and the original fallout stat system... minus the traits and actually cool perks.

But yeah, it honestly did at times feel like an Oblivion mod.

Fallout hellz yes. "Oblivion with AKs", okay, we get it, you like ZP. If we're gonna keep up references, Oblivion is paced worse than Eternal Sonnata. That, the fact that magic is totally gay (seriously, it is) and that Fallout 3 has a town built around a goddamn bomb with a sheriff who has more bass in his voice than Boris Christoff and more coolness than Nick Fury makes Fallout 3 the superior game by far. Also VATS, Three Dog, Liam Neeson and The Pitt.

I picked other because I think you should go with the RPG that blows people up.

On topic: If you liked Final Fantasy XIII, I recomend Kingdom Hearts. If, of corse, you have a PS2.

RPG-7...Cheap, Useful, And made in Russia!

OP: I played Oblivion but it was pretty fun. Fable 2 was fun if you enjoyed shattering and killing just about everything - It had a nice economy system :p. I hear Fallout was the shit though.

I Have Money To Buy Just One Xbox 360 Game And I Love RPG's I Already Have Final Fantasy XIII And Mass Effect 2 And I Am Planning On Getting A Good RPG
I Have Seen Some Reviews Around The Net And I Am Interested In Three Games
1.Fallout 3
2.Oblivion IV
3.Fable II
4.Other
If you have a 360 then Fable II is worth while, dont bother getting Oblivion IV or Fallout 3 until you are ever going to bother to get them on the PC

Fallout 3 or if you want something a bit more HC but not too much, go for Dragon Age: Origins.

And stop with alt caps please. It's really really annoying.

Doesnt get more classic rpg than Oblivion / Dragon Age Origins.

I loved Dragon Age on the 360 and i say go for it, even tho the controls are abit quirky.

If you have the money for a full $60 dollar games, I'd say get Dragon Age, but if you had the $60, you could also use it to get all of Mass Effect 1, Fallout 3 (non-GOTY) and TES4:Oblivion.

So I'm assuming you only have $20. I which case I'd say it depends on what you want. To expand on that ME2 experience, with great story, great atmosphere, and great characters/dialogue, but only about 20-30 hours, get ME1. For sheer length, solid gameplay, and a good story, get Oblivion. For a brilliant attmosphere, as well as fun gameplay, and quite good longevity, but a simply "okay" story, get Fallout 3.

What do you love about RPGs? A lot of RPG lovers hates Bethesdas games due to their lack of story or interesting characters. Out of your choices I can't say anything about Fable, but Fallout 3 is definetly much than Oblivion, unless you really prefer the more alive fantasy setting of Oblivion over the bleak future wasteland setting of Fallout.

I've got fallout 3, it is very fun and can whistle away hours of your life. Although I stopped playing because my game had terminal bugginess.

F3's level up system and huge list of side-quests make for the fun times.

I know everyone seems to hate it here for some reason, but Oblivion is awesome. I love fantasy stuff like that. I really disliked Fallout 3 for purely cosmetic reasons; not because it's a bad game but because it's so grey and depressing and uninspirarational.

*hides from the wrath of the Fallout lovers*
