Meh, I'm actually excited about this. It'll certainly be another perspective playing as an ODST instead of the superduper spartan tank that is Master Chief.

I love Halo, and I think this is a superb move for the franchise.

Actually, I vaguely rcall the manual of Halo: Combat Evolved said that all the other Spartans were killed on Reach.

Bandwagon haters aside, ODST should be a good game. I'm interested to see how Bungie will play it out not having the Chief as the main character. It's a good step to see them quit with the Chief.

People who think it'll suck just because it doesn't have the Chief are the people who started the "Halo 2-onward sucks" bandwagon because of Bungie adding an even better story in the Arbiter to the game than the Chief's.

Ok I'm gonna clear this up you're not a Spartan you are a ODST Marine, like special forces. They we're in Halo 3 they helped you at the start of one level.

Agreed. Plus it's supposed to incorporate more of a strategic play than Halo's normal run-and-gun method.

Well then, buy CoD 4/WaW, TF2 or L4D, put really dark glasses (helps if they are broken), play some Halo grunts in the background and you are still playing a better game.
