Also, the much-lauded dialogue and voice-acting - really? I found a lot of the voicework grating after a while. Each new character, I felt like I knew exactly how they would speak and how they would react to my hero, despite the supposed multitude of possible responses.

That was what I felt too (although I feel no need to complain about the acting per se). It was like all the dialogue was made after a predictable protocol. And they weren't so much responses as another character would make, but like the writer who pretended to be in the character's shoes... Everyone was talking in a uniform style.

No, atleast not until they release a bundle with all dlc and I see it pre owned on the 360.

See I hate paying extra for dlc, learned that from origins ultimate edition, and its not a priority game, so I wait, and after finding they witheld content to use as a pre order incentive (the prince character) I will make usre its pre owned, try to screw me over for money like that and I will make damn sure you dont see any of my money.
Maybe they will pull a Borderlands GOTY type of things with the DLC, instead of a disk it will be a code :p

I'll wait it out until it's around $20.

I am not interested in paying $60 for any game.
Even for a Bioware game.(My favorite kind of game)

I ordered it a few weeks back, think just after or before new years for about thirty euro (pc copy).

Probably wont get it day one, but it's already paid for.

Woah, the poll looks alot diffenrent than i expected, half of the people are going to buy it 1st day (like myself). I was expecting total "NO" from atleast 70%, which was based on the threads i have been reading lately about this game.

Yes, when it's on sale.
I'm not extremly intrested. Enjoyed the first game, but overall it just wasn't that much fun.

I buy all my games on sale though. Only spend over 30£ on a game if it's an extremly anticipated game for me. Bought GoW III for almost 60£ I believe!

I have the first one, and i think it's pretty fun. Better than the point-click-rpg genre that's fore sure. I havn't beaten it, but that's just because I can't spend all the time. I played the demo for the 2nd one on the PS3 and I like the combat much better. It seems more action oriented, like Rouge Galaxy, my favorite rpg on ps2. So yeah, there's a good chance i may buy it after it goes on sale.

I am currently playing through Origins for the first time and I quite like it. So I may get this to fill the gap between the releases of The Witcher 2 and Skyrim.

After playing the demo, definitely. I pretty much enjoy all the changes made to the original game except for the apparent removal of the isometric view... but I can live without that.

already pre-ordered and paid for.
^^This. All that's left is to wander over to my local GameStop on the 8th and pick it up.

BioWare RPGs aren't for everyone. Honestly, DA:O was the first one I had a chance to play, and I personally loved it enough that BioWare is one of my favorite developers.

I pre-ordered it on Amazon as soon as I heard about the Signature Edition. It was free shipping other than the dollar extra I paid for day one delivery. But that's better then using up 4 dollars worth of gas to drive over to a GameStop or Wal-Mart.

On the other hand, maybe the story just isn't for me. Standard Fantasy Setting is really an abomination, almost an oxymoron. More High Fantasy please!
DA IS High Fantasy. What are you on about?

Yeah I will buy it as well I have already pre-ordered it, I played all of DA:O and the expansion and thought it was very good although the combat could of been better, So because of that I played the DA2 demo and I thought it was instantly better, the combat system is improved but has bit of the old one in there and it go's really well.

So yeah i'm buying and I also recommend it too.
