Poll: Will You Buy Starcraft 2?

I will, since Starcraft sits very narrowly in my top ten favorate games of all time and I can see why it still has Korea in its merciless grip after all these years. If Blizard can put in even a third of the depth and strategy that went into the first one then we are all in for a wonderfull treat.

Starcraft is THE game about clicking everything on screen in the span of a second.

That's very hard to do when it takes 3 seconds to move from one edge of the screen toanother with little accuracy on a thumbstick.

Starcraft would not work on a console. Period.

Cause RTS is not for console. RTS is about having supah speed with the controlers. No controler right now offers the same speed as keyboard/mouse in a RTS. Mainly Starcraft, a game that you have to click on 50 different things every second.

Get the original SC for PC. It's from 98 your PC will run it unless your PC predates 1998... Then comeback and say that you can play SC on a console.

Edit: In multiplayer so you have an idea, theres players that can end a match in less than 5 minutes and you left to wonder what the hell happened.

Starcraft 2 just looks awesome. And for the work and delays, it'd better be that way when I buy it. I'd do anything short of standing in a line at midnight release really.

Besides, reviews are bad since most just suck up. It'll be a while before the good independent reviews pop up if its only so-so.

This is what I always do, and I'm not going to change that for Starcraft 2. Though I will probably buy it close to launch anyways.

Actually, I lied. Once I did not wait for the review. I didn't wait for the review of Spore, and look how that turned out.

The reviews were great though - critics now are all just suck-ups to the gaming industry other than Yahtzee, who, in all honesty, is just as bad - just the other way round.

And Starcraft 1 was an amazing game, so yes, I will get it.

I look at user reviews in addition to those of critics.
