Wired all the way for me. Nothing is more annoying then a keyboard/mouse battery copping out at the worst possible time. Then spending an eternity turning the house upside looking for spare batteries.
Plus i get a better response/reaction/precision with a wired input.

I still prefer my wired peripherals. I won't have to fork out on so many rechargable batteries.

Wow! The freedom! No more wire! No more shoving things off my desk, no more 'out of reach' moments. What's this? You can prank people with it? Awesome!
What? Same mouse? Control problems? Okay... Huh? Why is my character reacting so slow? Batteries? Again?! ARGH!

So it has it's ups and downs...

I don't hate it I just don't find it useful. I'm sure it is useful for people who sit further away from their PC but I need a gaming mouse with a good response time so I don't use wireless mice or keyboards.

I love it, it uses up less batteries than anything else I own (like, two AAA every three months at the most), works great, and I don't have to worry about that wire getting in the way.

I despise wireless keyboards with a passion though. I've never found one that didn't piss me off.

I'll never use wireless until it comes the time when the wireless devices charge themselves wirelessly aswell at the same time as you using them- then they will be superior.

computers, i really do, ive had many different computers over the years from the box to my current flat screen.
Computers have made massive changes over the years for better.
But ive got to say "The wireless mouse is evil!!!".
First off it always wastes batteries, i go through at least 6 batteries per month and they cost me a fortune. second is they alway go glitchy when they run out of batteries and third there a pain to install.
honestly are they really worth it? whats your opinion?
It used to be MUCH worse - wireless mouse used to run dry after 2 days - then they installed a powersave function in it - 6 batteries isnt too bad - invest in rechargables and it will be good. Still prefer wired optical mice though, just feels better

I had a wireless mouse, and the battery replacement just got frustrating. I prefer the wired mouse much more.

Wired. I honestly see no reason to use wireless on a computer. I mean sure, less wires but are wires really that annoying giving that they rarely impeede your ability to work on a computer?

Wires are not annoying at all, wired mice work, why would I want to change to having to switch batteries?

If you get a good wireless mouse they are very reliable but if you get a bad one they can break down very easily!

My mouse is wireless, it runs on one battery, and I've only had to replace it once in the six months I've had it. I love it.

"Wireless" mouse/keyboard are the worst idea in the history of computing. Especially keyboard. They always break, they are non-standard, BIOS doesn't recognise them, they keep losing their connection so you have to keep resyncing them, and they're not even fucking wireless! They still have a wire going from the IR receiver thingy to the PC.

If a wire is giving you hassle, you're doing it wrong.
