Poll: Worst Fan-boys

I have to agree with all the folks that have said Apple fans. You would be hard pressed to find a company that takes advantage of its fan base more, yet manages to maintain droves of mindless fanboys. Apple knows that they can charge a ridiculous mark up on their hardware because people will buy it because it is so pretty. If another hardware manufacturer really took style seriously, and started pumping out designs that rival Apple's designs at a reasonable price Apple would be in trouble.

that's a little overly blunt, but yeah macs arent that great. i've actualy never seen a mac fanboy except on their commercials, but he's such a dick that macs gross me out (the ipods are nice, though)

valve fanboys annoy me, too because they are smartasses that smell really bad.

I think the worst are people who hate fanboys with such a passion that they have to create a poll in order to decide who they dislike the most. At least the fanboys have a passion, its so much better then the constant hate you hypocrites spit.

Have to agree with funk here. Though, admittedly these same people are just as bad (perhaps not worse) as the very fanboys and fangirls they gripe about. In either case, it's best to just ignore them and leave them to their own devices and NOT feed their desire to hate on people with pointless polls that have been done to death already.

Anti-fanboys. At least fanboys have some kind of reasoning and enjoyment to warrant their claims of things being the greatest ever, but anti-fanboys generally don't have either. They exist purely to hate.

Couldn't of said it better myself. I don't see what the big deal is over enjoying a company/game more then another and for some reason you?re ridiculed and insulted constantly.


I'm not going to hide who or what I am....I'm a complete Halo 3 fan boy. I don't know why but I am. I'm not 12 either; I also don't spout immature insults and question people?s sexuality all day either...I guess that makes me a rare sorta Halo fan boy.

I'm most annoyed by people who are too quick to throw the word "fanboy" around. If you try to make an objective argument that CoD 4 is a better game than CoD 5 (not "I like it better," but rather it's better designed/story/less buggy/etc.), then you're labelled an "Infinity Ward fanboy." If you try to argue that Half Life 2 is a better game than Halo (again, for the same reasons), then you're a Valve fanboy. Why can't you make a case without automatically being accused of fantardation?

Also, PS3 fanboys seem to be especially irrational, moreso than most others. "PS3 will be the best system in 5 years (and you know this, how?), we still have the most RPGs (no you don't) and Killzone is just as good as Halo (it's not)"

Oh but I do want. I've just heard that a lot of times with Apple products, instead of fixing, they just give you a new one, because they can't really be fixed. Let it be known that I know nothing about computers, I just heard that somewhere. Also, as much as Apple fanboys annoy me, I wouldn't mind having a MacBook, I just can't afford one.

Mac owners and Xbots. Not all Mac owners obviously, but a lot of them think a Mac is the greatest thing ever. Sure it is.....if you know NOTHING about a PC which wouldn't be a problem if you took 5 minutes to read anything on the benefits of having a PC in the first place(take the price for example......).

Xbots on the other hand, think Microsoft can do no wrong. So did they all just forget Microsoft KNEW the 360 had hardware issues BEFORE they released it and still did so anyway? That says a lot right there. I own a 360 and I enjoy it, but I also realize that Microsoft is a little sketchy when it comes to consoles.
