Depends if I'm hot

If it was a magical and instant change, maybe for a day or so. Y'know, to see "how the other half live".

If however we're talking about real life surgery and hormone replacement therapy, then my answer is a resounding 'no'.
Same notion. I'd be fascinated to know if

*that one thing*

actually does feel better for women, or if

*that one other thing that happens regularly*

actually hurts as much as they say.

Alas, neither of these can yet be artificially rendered by science, and closest one could get is way too sloppy, prolonged, difficult, and irreversible of a procedure for me to ever consider it.

Would I change my gender? No. I like my body parts where they are, thank you.

Would I change my orientation? Yes. In a heartbeat.

Well that depends... do I get to be pretty? is this a change at the age I am right now?

because I'd totally do it if it entails pretty much starting mah life over... otherwise nope...

Yeah, fair enough. I'm kind of on the same boat as Moviebob in that she's more attractive than the average person, but for her to build a multi-million dollar career off of getting men to go see crappy movies because she's in them is just ridiculous. Especially when you look at the array of other Hollywood actresses.

[small]Woo, getting off topic in my own thread![/small]
More ridiculous than people getting famous for being reality television sensations?

Poor Ms. Fox is a lesser evil at best.
Gah! Why did you have to bring back that... that THING? A curse upon thee and all thine kin!

I actually had a dream that I was a woman... well, I still had my phallus, but other than that, I was mostly female. I was sitting in a bar while this guy next to me kept pestering me. Eventually I got so fed up that I put a knife to his throat. It was a little dinky dollar store knife, but I pressed it against his skin hard enough that little drops of blood began to drip out. After that, he got the message and left me alone. I am feeling proud of my self for my triumph over douchebaggery... then the cops show up. Apparently, what I had just done was kind of illegal.
Now I'm in the back of the cop car and I present my hands between the driver and passenger seat and say "Hey, you forgot to cuff me."
"Oh yeah," he replies. I glance into the rear view mirror and see my reflection; a little white lady with hair straight our of the eighties. If I could create the exact opposite of who I am in real life, this would be it. Now cuffed, we make our way to the station. This is when my I start thinking about the not so distant future. 'I'm going to prison looking like a woman! No wait, I'm going to a woman's prison... what's going to happen when we get to the showers and they notice my manly bits? I have to get out of here some how.
Once at the station, I begin wandering aimlessly, because apparently, the cops in my subconscious are terrible at their job. I wind up in the showers which are empty and are inspired by various steam punk novels. The faucets and poles are gold and engraved and the room is an oval with curtain off shower sections branching off of the center.
"I got to get out of here, this is rape central." I say to my self. I wander out of the showers and end up inside my church. At this point I realize I have turned back into a man and can now wander safely with out fear of cops. I make my way out of the church and see my old church a few blocks away.
Making my way home, I think aloud "You know, that guy at the bar wasn't so bad... definitely not 'knife to the throat bad'." a this point I wake up.

I'd do it for a little while with a magic bullet, sure. I'd rub a few out to see how different girls have it down there and maybe see how awful having a period would be.

I'd probably go back pretty quickly though, unless their orgasm is like a 1000 times better and lesbians start raining down from the heavens upon me.

I'll be honest, I'd be curious. Don't misunderstand me, I'm not dissatisfied with my lot as a man by a long shot, nor do I believe there'd be a particular qualitative difference after such a change. All the same though, the idea intrigues me. Just how would my life be different? What things that I take for granted in my life would come into sharp focus when viewed from another angle? What habits would I have to pick up that I don't have to deal with as a man? Heck, I'd be curious as to how much such a change would effect my mind. I've only ever seen the world from a man's perspective, with the associated hormones flowing through my veins, seeing how much the body influences the mind would be interesting at the very least. I'd definitely want to keep the door open so I could return to my original gender, but with that as a given, why not?

it depends on how I'd look. I mean if it was just suddenly me with boobs and a vagina...well...I'd make a HIDEOUS woman as I am right now as opposed to a (I'm told) fairly attractive guy. If I was younger, like middle school or early high school, I'd probably me much more open to changing. I've always been a bit effeminate (the girls I dated always seemed to like that about me) so I think I could switch and not have an issue adapting.

Hell yea, in a second, I have envied and wanted to be a woman all my life and if I had grown up in the internet era and had access to a computer at an early age, I am sure I would be one right now. I have no doubts, as much as a female has to struggle in life with men seeing them as the lesser sex, job equality, pay etc. As much as women have to struggle to look good, periods hormonal changes, childbirth, I would change my sex in an instant if I could just to have everything they have, the good and the bad. I just want to get rid of all the junk I got between my legs and have it look and feel right.

If it was an instant magical change and I had the option to change back and forth whenever I want then I'd be curious and probably try it but I think I'd probably just stay a guy.

It's a curiosity for sure, but it would have to be for a short while, just to see how one lives as a woman.

But I would have to change a couple things, such as appearance, otherwise it might get a little awkward for people you know.
