Add no less than five zeroes behind that five/fifteen and I might seriously consider it. Suffering builds character and the puppy will get over it as a tougher individual just as it would in the wild. I could even buy the puppy a treat with some of that money afterward just to show that there are no hard feelings.

Now, if kicking the puppy will save a life somehow (kicking the puppy into a terrorist or kicking a deadly arachnid off of the puppy?), then I might do so for free. So, yes...for Science...and friendship!

Maybe if it was rabid and trying to attack me. Although in that case kicking probably wouldn't be my first instinct.
Otherwise no. I'm not the kind of garbage that would even consider kick a puppy for anything less than $20.

Nope, puppies are too damn cute, especially that one.

Besides, I own a dog and I've had him since he was a puppy, so I couldn't imagine kicking him.

I would rather kick that person who offered me such a deal. Maybe if it was my neighbours dog, that stupid thing always shits on the stairs.

Honestly, I probably wouldn't do it for a hundred dollars and would give it SERIOUS contemplation if it was for a thousand dollars... I'm the kind of guy who can't even work up the courage to throw a ball at full strength in dodge ball, and thats using a ball made entirely of foam, like the pillow kind... I highly doubt I could kick an animal with enough strength to actually cause it any sort of serious harm... hell I had a dog bite me and make it so I had to get stitches, I even ended up pulling my punches then subconsciously as my the flesh on my shoulder was being shredded... kicking a puppy like that ON PURPOSE... Is.. ...

This does not compute. How does making an animal suffer for no reason equate to stripping an animal of its flesh and eating it because you bred its parents for that express purpose?

Would I kick a random, cute puppy? No. But the dog next door that's been frequently waking me up early? Hell yes.

No. No I would not. There are other things in the world that deserve a kicking. Like that jerk at starbucks....

Everytime you kick a puppy your penis shrinks 1/4 inch.

"The fact that the human being can have the representation ?I? raises him infinitely above all the other beings on earth. By this he is a person....that is, a being altogether different in rank and dignity from things, such as irrational animals, with which one may deal and dispose at one's discretion. (Kant, LA, 7, 127)"

However:

"If a man shoots his dog because the animal is no longer capable of service, he does not fail in his duty to the dog, for the dog cannot judge, but his act is inhuman and damages in himself that humanity which it is his duty to show towards mankind. If he is not to stifle his human feelings, he must practice kindness towards animals, for he who is cruel to animals becomes hard also in his dealings with men. (Kant, LE, 240)"

I'd try to avoid it(Only to prevent desensitising myself to humans), but if I needed that fifteen dollars a puppy's getting the punt.

Since I didn't ask "would you kill a puppy," it's not an exact analogue. But notice how a lot fewer people would kick a puppy, even though they're definitely doing less harm to the animal, than would eat bacon. I just wanted to see how people's intuitions would be different when they were asked to hurt a puppy instead of a pig. The "reason" is getting a small amount of money, which was meant to be comparable to the pleasure you get from eating the pig.

If that puppy had been gnawing on my ankle for the past half hour I'd probably give it a good boot-shove for free. But I would not maliciously kick an animal for no purpose, only if it was actually hurting me or attempting to hurt me.
