I'm wondering why anyone would want to leave. You wouldn't be able to get anywhere interesting, besides maybe some of the planets in our solar system. But I'm sure the novelty of being on another planet would wear off when you realize that every planet we know of is fucking terrible compared to Earth.ActionDan said:That is exactly what I am wondering.grimsprice said:Who the FUCK would want to stay here?
Well considering that I said "Or would you stay on Earth?", I thought it would be obvious that you wouldn't be staying on Earth to explore the Universe. I'm not being completely literal, the means by which you leave Earth are upto you, no matter of todays lack of a way to travel into the Universe for any great length.Jarc42 said:What does that mean, 'explore universe'? Do you mean observable space? Because you can explore the universe here on Earth. Hell, you do it every day. I suppose you meant explore outer space, which would be VERY boring/long with current technological capabilities.
He didn't put stipulations on the level of technology you'd be able to use. I'm assuming that postulating the question implies we'd be able to break a few rules of physics and actually be able to explore it as fast as we wanted.Internet Kraken said:I'm wondering why anyone would want to leave.
