Actually, there were some good bits in the NT as well. You could make a level about the confrontation between Jesus and the people possessed by demons, sorta like the Exorcist. Oh, and the boss fight would have to be 'I am Legion, for we are many'.
There's already a game 'based' on the bible.
It's called Bible Adventures, and it's on the NES (I think?).

Too bad there aren't any good Bible games. I would totally play one. The Bible was extremely violent, full of moving character drama and climactic battles.
Playing as "an angry and vengeful God"? Yes please!
Also, since collecting pointless stuff to unlock more stuff seems to be all the rage these days (from GTA's hidden packages to Prototype's Landmarks to Assassin's Creed's flags), why not be able to collect foreskins on your spare time?
i have no urge to play a game about religion because i have had religion shoved down my throat since i was seven (grade one) and it did not end until grade twelve
so i would say no
