Im sure you all know about how living in North Korea or a poor African nation sucks.
North Koreans EVERYTHING is controlled by the dictator and everyone is forced to lie about everything to live and theyre brainwashed
Uganda's government is corrupt but they don't really step in.
A big problem is the war over Coltan which is found in electronic devices we own.
Often child slaves mine it, averge pay $1 per day if theyre not a slave.
People war over control of Coltan and take slaves.
But anyway ya that's just the gist of it although you probably know more.
If you don't know about them theres always google.

So the question is would you rather live in Uganda or North Korea? Why?

I personally would pick Uganda I couldn't stand the brainwashing of N. Korea even though I'd probably be at more threat of attack in Uganda.

North Korea unquestionably has a better standard of living. I'd say there's almost no comparison.

North Kore. Definitly north korea. All you have to do is kiss up to the great leader and you'll be fine.

Africa however you will not be fine, no matter how much you kiss up to the current warlord. If the people don't get you the disease will.

Back in high school, I knew a kid who lived in Uganda because his parents did the Peace Corps or something like that. Anyway, he liked Uganda just fine. North Korea seems objectively terrible in every way, so I'll go with Uganda and the one random kid who had something good to say about it

Both are horrible places but people are really underestimating just what a shitty place North Korea is here.
Don't get me wrong, people aren't living well in N. Korea, but they're far richer per person than Uganda. The threat of death is also not quite so imminent, and you can have access to a standard of living that includes a bed to sleep on.

I'd probably live in Uganda, and join the military. That should protect me from being killed by the military or by any warlords (unless of course I get killed in action), plus I'm pretty sure their soldiers don't starve. North Korea's just not my cup of tea...

North Korea on the off chance that I could use South Korea's wireless internet and rock them (or get rocked) in Starcraft 2.

I'd have to say Uganda. At least you know what is happening there and there are many people in those African countries who are really trying to help the place. North Korea is way too secret for me.

North Korea makes airstrip one (from 1984) look like a good place to live. At least with Uganda you can emigrate.

Uganda mostly because starting a rebel group that does not take child slaves could be easier than the other choices and being there would give me the chance to help if I do not die first.

People say that N. Korea has a better standard of living, whilest that may seem true the country is in a massive period of starvation. The previous one like this wiped out 1 million people. Then youve also got the fact that you would live permanently in fear, especially considering they have very strict laws on which races are acceptable and would probably not tolerate simply having non korean citizens, which is a constant factor. People keep saying Uganda has a worse standard of living, im sure that if you have the skills you could live like a king over there. Also the country doesnt need or want a revolution right now, so why are people saying they would start one?

Uganda, because they probably wouldn't activly try to stop me from leaving. Nobody leaves the workers paradise that is North Korea. It's a lot like the whole berlin wall, east-west berlin thing, just a lot worse.
